INIU Power Bank 22.5W 10000mAh $10.49 + Delivery ($0 Prime/ $59 Spend) @ INIU Amazon AU

1540

Edit: a Redeem button has now appeared, allowing you to apply an additional 15% off on top of selecting the 'Apply 50% coupon' box, to get to $10.49 (matches all time low??)

I was trying to buy one earlier, got one from the Veektomx deal, then found a decent Charmast one for similar price, thought I'd take another browse and now this seems even better and cheaper so now I have 3 on the way today and tomorrow…

Seems to rotate through 30?/40/50% coupons every month lately, this time of month.

Wow, it can charge my iPhone 8 more than 7 times? That phone was released in 2017. Wonder if this power bank is missing any important charging standards introduced in the last 6+ years

  • Thanks OP

Not expired or sold out yet, I can see coupon is still there @ 1:02am AEDT

I purchased this before my overseas trip last Christmas with 15% off. This was proven to be of excellent value, extremely reliable! The charging speed was fast. Real sense of security when you carry it around.

Highly recommended at this price! Way better value than many competitors products.

  • Does anyone know if it's OK for an apple watch charging puck?

  • Paid $13.49 on the 11th March
Prior to that, had paid $10.49 late last year.

I'd definitely buy one of these at $14.99, though particularly want the 20k version next

      • Looks like a great price and size. Just a shame it’s only 18w compared to the 22.5w of this marginally faster charging unit.

        • +1

Out of interest, the 22.5W rating is at 5V, 4.5A / 4.5V, 5A. This is used by Huawei phones for SCP fast charging, so only relevant to a small number of people in Australia. Most phones won't charge at 22.5W.

Generally new phones support the PD spec, and in this case they will use 9V, 2.22A. So 20W. Even then, only for part of the charge cycle.

The 20K 18W INIU power bank does 9V, 2A (18W), which will be the voltage used for most phones. So slightly slower, but over an entire charge cycle it will be relatively minor.

The biggest increase in charge speed will be when under 50%, which will charge about 10% faster. This means getting from 0% to 50% charge will be a few minutes quicker. So potentially handy, but not hugely different.

Notice all the good reviews on this are quite recent. The bad reviews are from last year where they have a common theme of the unit failing to charge after a few months or just charging up to a point then stops. Maybe that's why it's so cheap.

    • Mine is still working after 5 months.

    • The only Amazon reviews worth their salt are the negative ones, however they tend to delete overly critical ones.

There’s a checkbox for a further 15% off on the product page. Grabbed one for $10.49

    • +1

Thanks, just cancelled my $14.99 order and re-ordered for $10.49

      • +1

did it let you check the box again after you cancelled? visiting the page now, I don't have a box to check as I've already ordered one

        • +1

Coupon is one per account, so it isn’t there because you’ve used it
          Try cancelling and reordering

        • +1

Once I cancelled my original order I went back to the listing and the 50% off checkbox was back and selectable, along with the 15% off 'redeem' option that wasn't there previously

          • +1

@camsmith12: I almost totally failed, got greedy and cancelled, went back and the check box was gone!
Messaged support saying I had accidentally cancelled and to reinstate the order if possible, and also that I had a coupon for 15% in my account. Agent said to reorder at the current cost and they will revert to the $10.49 price if I message them again tomorrow after I receive the item, and they will provide the price difference as a promotional credit. Made this a hassle for myself, but at least it should work out!

I've got too many portable batteries now.

Is that even a thing? Powerbanks seem to be fast becoming the new Eneloops of OzB.

Good power bank and amazing for this price. I have had one for about a year and it is holding up well. No noticeable capacity drop when I put it on my load tester recently.

    Excellent review from Dr Gough.

One interesting thing. It's not listed in the spec, but it does PPS. 5V - 5.9V at 3A, and 5V - 11V at 2A. I am curious if Samsung phones would use this (10V, 2A) for 20W charging, or if they will use the PD voltages. But I don't have a Samsung phone to try.
