      Yeah, Nah!

      One-one was a race horse.
      Two-two was one too.
One-one won one race one day.
      Two-two won one too.

You also get another 10% off if you add two of them to your cart (or any one of the other 'qualifying items')

    • thanks mate that's what I did. this should last me about 9 months

    • awesome thank you for the tip

      bought 2

  • Anyone got any experience with the blades on ebay ?, 5 for $30 or 10 for $60, I assume they are fake but if they work and do the same job I can't see an issue ….

    • +8

Junk! Last around a quarter of the time period of EOM, and not cut as well. Tried them for first replacement, and went back to OEM quite quickly.

    • Curious to know.

    • +3

i tried the fake ones from Ali-Express, they look exactly the same, matching packaging etc but they just didn't work well compared to the real ones from my experience with the ones i received.

      • +1

Did you expect any less from Ali-Express? LOL

        • +3

No not at all haha but the seller isn't the issue, these fake oneblades come from the same place even if bought on Ebay, Temu, Third Party Marketplaces, Ali-Express, etc so just saying the fake blades do a crap job compared to originals.

    • +5

Ordered some from Temu. Look identical for a copy. Doesn't cut as well as the original oneblade but im happy to go over multiple times thus saving myself money

    • +1

Generic blades pull some hairs while using

    • +1

      Unfortunately rubbish

    • +2

I often buy a twin pack when TGG have a eBay sale. Unfortunately like the Oral B toothbrushes though they are easy to tell counterfeit these blades if the don’t come in the blister pack with Philips on them, back they go. 2 pack from TGG are usually about $10 off on a sale but three for $41 that is good value. I’ve given up on all those cheap counterfeit versions on eBay. However I can’t say I’ve seen many one blades. YMMV.

The best I price I ever got was Big-W had them on clearance and I got the last set from my local store, twin pack for $21 and pick up from Layby / Service counter.

I’m temped by this deal as I mostly dry shave with these and they are one of the few that don’t leave horrible razor rash but if you want a 2-3 day beard I don’t find the the shaving head is as good.

Best thing is that if you are careful you can use these on “body” areas. Though I’m still interested in how much better the Manscaping brand is in comparison. As price for a kit can be between $200 and $240 depending on which YouTube link you use.

Having said that aloe sensitive shaving cream and a five blade safety razor will be smoother and less likely to nick “body” areas. But you may get a crotch itch shaving so close. I’m sure enough ppl know what I’m writing about.

As a beard razor when I haven’t bothered to shave for a week, the pull using only a blaze razor and shaving cream compared to these one blades , on my face, the one blades win hands down, has been the best I’ve ever used in terms of an electric razor.

And like I said, if you’re careful Philips have a full body model that has a 360 Swivel head but I think you use the same blades. It comes with a couple of close trim plastic lengths that clip on.

Most of the time I use this to trim beard, but have used on body parts with and without the plastic attachment. If you take your time you won’t nick yourself. I tried a Wahl one a few years back which was designed for body and I got nicks all the time - and they were similar design but obviously the hairdresser professional vs high end consumer models are different enough that I keep going back to the Philips One.

  • +2

Just bought the one blade, how often are you meant to be changing the blades?

    • +3

Can do 6 months if you do some aftercare all the time after a shave.

    • +4

Yep lasts me abit over a year for 3 and I have steel wool for facial hair lol I shave every other day.

      • +4

Yeah I’m an infrequent shaver, and the blades last 6 months minimum for me. Good life in them.

      • Holy crap
I have beard whiskers like a rasp and these Phillips one blade blades barely last a few weeks, shaving infrequently.

Definitely not shaving every other day and definitely not lasting any reasonable length of time.
(Always bought from Amazon, not genetic eBay/Temu/ali)

    • +3

2 years and probably going to change it this month.

I'm a man, I have my own decision

        • -1

          Talk about buying (into) crap

        • +2

Just pull the hairs off your balls straight up man the (profanity) up 😂😂😂

    • The true ozbargainer way

    • +5

Totally. Safety razor blades available everywhere in world and shaves are pennies a piece.

    • I bought one, I don’t like it

I find the generic coles or woolies one does a good job for me

    • +2

how do you trim a beard with a safety razor 🤔

        • +3

He used a Philips One Blade before passing away this year.

An electric beard trimmer seems easier than messing around with a comb and safety razor to trim a beard down to 5mm.

I just use a safety razor for a clean shave around a beard.

  • 40 flippin bucks for shaving blades?! why on earth would you buy these instead of an electric shaver that comes with a new blade already…

    • +5

You get the effect of an electric shaver with the precision of a razor without the cuts 🙂

      • fr?

      • And less razor rash than your typical electric razor which I stopped using 30 years ago so they might be better no. The best shave is 5 blaze satey which ARE expensive, but they won’t last as long as these Philips One Blades. It depends on your skin of course but even a blade razor might give me some razor rash. These one blades cut it short enough that I can get away with every 3 days, but mostly two or if I don’t have much work on, why bother shaving at all. For me I have been lucky and despite the high price of the blades, it cuts close enough to the skin, dry, or wet, though Philips recommend dry, that I barely get any razor rash.

    • I have roscea, this works way better for me than blades or other razors.

  • +1

Fastly approaching the Gillette 3000 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YleuLyCUx28

  • Ahhh I lost my charger cord and haven't been able to find a replacement grr

    • +7

I did the exact same, ended up buying this, there are a few others you can find if you need.

      • +2

        Cheers You're a good egg!

    • +3

      I wish more shavers/clippers were USB-C!

      • +2

I have a USB-C Xiaomi clipper that I bought for ~$40 on eBay. It doesn't shave super close, but it's great for a stubble-look beard (0.5 to 1.7mm). It's not good for longer moustache trimming though because the guard is too large and stabs my nose, but for a "shaver" or hair clipper, it's brilliant.

    • I broke one of the plastic guards that attach on it, so hard to find a replacement without buying a whole new one!

  • +10

This shaver is a game changer I swear to god. No more random shaving cuts and the result is the same as a razor.

    • +2

It's definitely not as close as a razor for someone like me but yeh no cuts like electric shaver and as precise or more so than razor…🙂

      • +2

Yeah, not as smooth as a razor per se, but smooth enough to not notice the difference much vs a razor, at least for me. And without the bloody cuts, I'm happy to shave every hours if I have to! 😂

        • +1

when I don't care, I just do OneBlade and it already looks close enough

but when I want to look dandy, I finish with a foil shaver afterwards - gets closer, and still no cuts..

          • @shabaka: I can practically close my eyes and run this thing anywhere on my body without ever worrying about getting cuts, though the patchiness will probably fark up my life temporarily.😂

  • +1

it can't beat the Gillette 3000, with 16 blades & 75 lubricating strips!

    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YleuLyCUx28

  • 1640 clicks, zero claimed???

    • +1

I claimed one. Still says zero

    • … I claimed mine a day ago at the regular price (dang), which wasn't too bad at $53. The current deal is excellent though.

  • -1

    ok

  • Good price, but recommend spending the money on the 360 blades over these, much nicer to use

    • 360 blades?
      Do you have a link?

      • +2

Not sure if you think I'm talking about a quantity? The new blades are called OneBlade 360 and are finally able to swivel

        • +1

haven't tried them, been just shaving with original ones for yonkies. but I can't say I ever wanted them to swivel, would it be better than regular ones? original ones are kinda good in terms of you get good control over direction and angle, wouldn't swivel action make it harder to control?

        • Didn't know there were new ones.
          Thanks will check

        • Yeah I wondered if the 360 blades were different. Thanks for confirming.

I've been using OneBlade 360 for a couple of months now. Not a huge improvement, but it feels different for better. Much smoother experience. Result the same.
I'm still debating if it's worth the extra money.

        • +1

Also to add that the 360 one is made in Netherlands, whereas the original one is made in Thai or China?

  • Thanks OP! Just claimed.

Had relegated the shaver to the back shelf as the replacements blades were too expensive. Will be good to trim the beard like a pro.

  • What’s a good shaver to go with this?

  • If anyone wants these let me know, I have a pack that got bundled incorrectly when I bought a power adaptor for different beard trimmer and missed the Amazon return window before realising they are incompatible with my trimmer. I'm on the northern beaches. You pay shipping and a beer?

    • I may take you up on this, how can I contact ya?

      • DM'd you

  • I still have shavers from the Harvey Norman big buys Schick Quattro offer 9 years ago or so

  • Expired?
    Showing $55
Or an i doing something wrong?

  • Damn did I miss this? These last ages for me (genetics)

  • Hmm my Philips Multigroom 5000 has just died - I did like it, any reasons this is better? I trim, rather than shave

    • Precision of a shaver, lasts forever (battery as well as the shave heads), doesn't irritate the skin for those with sensitive skin, not quite as close a shave as a razer but close enough.

If you never shave and only trim then maybe not as relevant for you but get a pack with the adjustable length adapter and you can always swap between that and a closer shave if needed

  • I bought one a few years back. Still good as new!!🤔

  • +1

    Back to 55.49 now 😩
