VPN required to sign up, but after that you're good to go.

AU pricing - $19.99/month, $164.99/year

Note - Wise was the only card which worked for me, but ymmv

  1. Sign up with new account, download Canva
  2. Close Canva window
  3. Turn VPN on and connect to Turkey / Istanbul
  4. Sign in to Canva, click "try Pro" on left column (might not show straight away)
  5. Sign up to trial, pricing should show in TRY.
  6. Once done, turn VPN off and use as normal

        Initially yes, but now it asks for proof of employment. Once that's uploaded and verified you're good to go

        Once you sign up with your edu account, go to the education page and choose ‘get verified’ under the teacher box. It asked for the school name and the street address, I just used the details of my edu email provider and it verified me after telling them what grades I teach I chose high school years 11 and 12

      There's a few catches.

      Canva Pro is not available for University or College students.

      As a primary/secondary student, your teacher needs to invite you to join.
      Can't just sign up with .edu account, unless you're a teacher. Need to upload proof.

        I just chose ‘get verified’ as a teacher after signing up using my .edu account it asked for the school name and address then it verified me. I am not a teacher, just used the name and address for my edu email address

    Thanks OP. When you say "download Canva", it isn't a download on a Mac.
    I have upgraded my free Canva account using this method, and now have Pro and all my old designs.

    so this doesn't work with a phone. you need a PC/Mac
