    Can someone confirm if TCN Gift cards can be used on The Good Guys Commercial?
    I know these can be used on normal store but not sure about TGG Commercial store. Has anyone used before? Thanks

      You cannot directly redeem TCN GIFT gift cards on the TGG Commercial website.

      • The TCN GIFT gift cards in this deal operate on the eftpos network. These gift cards do not support online transactions, plus there is no way to redeem an eftpos gift card on the TGG Commercial website.

      • It is possible to go to the TCN website and exchange a TCN GIFT gift card for a TGG gift card, but you cannot redeem TGG gift cards on the TGG Commercial website. (It is against the terms and conditions of TGG gift cards to redeem them on the TGG Commercial website, plus there is no option on TGG Commercial's checkout page to redeem TGG gift cards.)

      Having said that, you can redeem TCN GIFT gift cards at a physical TGG store (and TGG online, if you do an exchange). WIth that in mind…

    Unfortunately I bought $300 of "TCN Gift" gift cards in 3 x $100 form without reading the fine print in the woolworths catalogue - excludes $100 gift cards. Serves me right, but it was not well advertised in the woolworths catalogue.

    To add insult to injury the only store I regularly use from the list is uber eats, which seems to have been cut out of the useable stores. As when I try to use it for this, it denies me. Uber eats is listed as useable online but on the actual card itself its not in the stores they advertise, so I suspect they have recently changed it but this is not reflected online.

      If you politely ask Everyday Rewards, a rep may be kind enough to credit you bonus points as a gesture of goodwill.

      Where are you trying to use this gift card online? Uber Eats directly or the TCN website?

      Have you tried redeeming for an Uber gift card instead of an Uber Eats gift card on the TCN website? Uber and Uber Eats gift cards are interchangeable (i.e. they both work on Uber and Uber Eats).

        I actually got Woolworths to credit me the points for all in the end by speaking to the rewards team.

        In terms of Uber eats, I am trying on the TCN website where you have swap the card for a voucher. I don't know if uber works for a voucher or not, but I'm reluctant to try unless the voucher (as opposed to gift card) doesn't work with Uber eats

          When you exchange your TCN gift card for Uber or Uber Eats through the TCN website, you will receive an Uber or Uber Eats gift card. Uber and Uber Eats use the same overarching account, so when I add an Uber or Uber Eats gift card through Uber or Uber Eats, it gets added to the same overarching account.

          Have you registered your TCN gift card on the TCN website? If not, that may get you around the exchange issue you are currently facing.

        I also can't redeem for either Uber or Uber Eats. The website shows both of these as "online" but following the links shows it can't be used. This is for the "GIFT" card.

            @WookieMonster: I have just tried that and it now works. I tried immediately after registering and it didn't work, then checked the balance, then about 20 minutes after that it worked.
            It shouldn't be this hard. They need to say you have to register the card first.

              For a long time, there was no need to register a TCN gift card to do an exchange. However, it looks like TCN quietly brought in this requirement a few months ago (or TCN changed something where the workaround is to register the gift card first).

            @WookieMonster: Thanks for clarifying this as a requirement - that's good to know. Yes, ridiculous that you have to register it and they don't make this clear. Even when you try to buy something with an unregistered card they could easily say as an automatic response "please register first" or whatever rather than "your card cannot swap for this voucher".

        Because the banners I saw all say 20 EDR and one of the banners in the supermarket showed picture of the $50 TCN Restaurant as well as the $100 one.
