        hi furythree,

        we can get the cables for as low as $3 but those are really low quality cables and they havent been properly tested or quality controlled. some of them dont have working chips, some of the suppliers lie about what is working, most of them probably wont work with ios 6.1

        i can tell you our margins are very slim and we pay more for a better quality product so that we can offer warranty and have a future ready product.

        when you order from asian countries, they generally dont offer warranty outside of dead on arrival. so there are a lot of hidden costs you dont see.

        if you would like a super cheap cable, i can get you one for about $5 shipped but no guarantees on the quality.

      We are waiting for our mfi compliance from apple. 6.1 isn't out for us to test yet but our factory has confirmed them working on 6.0.1 developer version

      There is no reason why they shouldn't work for all future versions but if there is an issue, you are covered under warranty and we can work out an upgrade if the compomentry of the cables need to be upgraded

      Hi lead, unfortunately there is because we run on very tight margins. It is exactly what PayPal charge us (1c less infact) but direct deposit is always fee free.

      You can see the surcharge amount at checkout before you pay

          would you want leather, aluminium or plastic

          aluminium bumpers are probably the best in terms of they dont compromise the design as much as most of the other cases and the front and back sets offer great protection, around $30.

          aluminium cases are usually brushed metal and come in about 6 colours looking around $12 for these.

          plastic ones will be cheaper and available in dozens of designs and colours, no more than a couple bucks for these.

          leather ones are available in horizontal and vertical flip style, with or without wallet ability (eg. holds a couple of credit cards) they are around $7-10 for fake leather, $20-as much money as you got for genuine leather based on quality)

          screen protectors are worth nothing, most my suppliers will give them for free with the cases.

          i think i like the matte finish plastic design for the HTC One X, but Aluminium would also work.

    Just to confirmed, you have bypass the authenticate chip that's present in the lightning cable????? Because this is the first I've of it since the launch of the ip5. Please confirm.

      yes, its got the ic chip required for data sync, transfer and charging.
      im the first to get them as far as i know
      i have great suppliers that ive had years of contact with.

          i have uploaded a video showing the cable working on 6.0.1, you can see it from my original post now thats its been updated.

          im not sure where you read that the chip was only cracked a week ago, i can tell you it was actually "cracked" very early on. many of the bigger factories never actually "cracked" the ic chip, they just bought an MFI licence from apple and started churning copies once they knew what to do.

    For those wondering, I can confirm 6.0.1 and 6.1 patches whatever exploit used in the Chinese lightning cable knock-offs. Bought three from Shenzhen two weeks ago – as predicted – it no worky anymore after upgrading the iPhone 5 hehe.

        as soon as ios 6.1 is available to me, i will test it out

        apple puts out these rumours a lot of the time because they want everyone to be MFI compliant.
        which means they pay a licensing fee to apple for each accessory they make.

        i could go into technical specifics here but at this stage i just want to say that we are a local company and we will make sure everyone is looked after.

      yeah i was wondering about this myself. Heard or read somewhere that currently only apple holds the authentication key, therefore any unauthorised duplications would only work for that iOS version.

    I'm wary on these lighting cable. Seen reports on the Internet that apple could firmware block the cable chip from charging.
