  • Was about to buy them read a few previous deals saying to get the s2000mkiii instead.

For $90 more, is it worth it??

I have had the s1000Mkii for several years and they are fantastic imo. One really good thing about them is that they give a lot of power evenly across the whole tonal range, because the treble speakers are 25w each, where as on the 2000mkiii's the treble speakers are only 15w and the majority is in the bass speaker. Which is exactly what I don't want, I've never been into "big bass" just doesn't sound very good to me because I'd rather hear clarity in every part of the audio signal and that's what these (s1000mkii's) provide in spades. Not that they lack at all in the bass department, there's heaps of bass there too, just doesn't over power the rest of the sound like some speakers can, and you can adjust the dials at the back of them for more or less bass and treble if you want.

They simple sound amazing to me, no matter what I'm listening to: Movies, Music, Video games, Youtube etc the sound is of a very high quality and they are very powerful for any normal size room, even most lounge rooms I would suspect. I have them in my bedroom currently and I always use less than half the power (master volume dial is set to 50%) and it's usually at way less than max or it's just too darn loud.

Couple of reviews I just found in case it helps:

  • @Postal Dude Thankyou very much for posting this deal! 👍 I have been watching these for a while and even though they were at good price in some places, I held off. Glad I did because this is by far the lowest I have ever seen them and I grabbed them quick!

    cheers 🍻😃
