A huge bargain on selected Elgato products.. not sure why it is sold this cheap!
I thought it was an error, but I have been updated that the courier delivery is incoming.

Please note that if you select delivery option, there are some delivery fees (mine was ~$25 for the ring light)

      Are you sure these products are the same?

      The Elgato is retractable and housed in a cassette and the Neewer is just a sheet that needs stands and a hanging rod.

    How useful is this green screen and diffused light in making a photo studio? My gf is starting to get into photography and wants to try a multi-purpose photography room

      Green screen is for photo manipulation and composites. If she's just starting, she would want white background.

      White background and then use a similar thing to change colours if its necessary.
      It's unlikely she will ever want or need a GREEN screen.

      Something similar to this but not that actual one as I haven't shopped around to find a good deal, which allows for swapping of colours.
      I'm sure neweer probably has a good starter option.

      Just make sure she figures out what size she would need for the types of photos she plans on taking + extra space just in case she wants to take more zoomed out photos or larger subjects.

      for photography? ring lights are one of the worst things you can buy. you need lights that you can manipulate easy given thats the main reason for having a studio. 100% control over lighting.you want something with a bowens mount for the most versitility. being able to use spotlight apaters, softboxes, barn doors, lanterns.. a ring light is really only good for someone who doesn't want to learn anything about lighting and wants something cheap. Arguably most of what a photographer does is learn about lighting.

    I first called up jb liverpool and they rejected.

    Then called up jb WETHERILL and they sent me a link with the updated prices, i had to pay an extra $21 for delivery but still worth it!

    None of them are available for home delivery or for pickup in WA, so, I think it's just a scam on their part. You know, advertise something cheaply that they don't have.

    I have the green screen and use it primarily as my Teams background (well, keyed out obviously, with a pic of my actual room behind me - allows it to look normal but have movement behind (wife, kids, pets) and not being distracting. Plus gaming when I stream. It's good and would recommend it but I bought mine barely used 2nd hand and the gas struts they use are cheap and nasty (and upside down) so they failed and I replaced them - they're a non-standard part too so it cost a bit.

    For anyone in SA, Strut Re-Gas can get replacements for you. Tell them you want them for an Elgato Green Screen and they should be able to find the part type in their invoice book. If not, the description on the invoice is for "750 8/18 10mm eyes 100N"

    I wonder how much printing places charge for those pull-up marketing banners they have at pop-up sales tables and at events and stuff. I bet they could do it way cheaper than the RRP of these if not at a similar price to this deal
