  • Nice. I got 2Kg to tide me over the Christmas break and through January, and it was very enjoyable. A bit earthier than the MTM blend so I preferred it with milk-based drinks. I'll definitely be getting another KG this time around, too!

    • Hey @Chazzozz woohoo for another fantastic order from you, thank you so much!!!

It's always fantastic to hear how customers interpret our fresh coffee flavours…to each their own I personally find our Thank You blend to be slightly brighter (bit more of an acidity kick) and a touch fruitier than our Moments to Memories blend, yet still having those oh so sweet, familiar earthy and chocolatey flavour notes of Moments. Love the continued engagement @Chazzozz :)

  • +1

OP, any deal for grounded espresso please? thanks.

    • Also wondering this - or can the thank you blend be ground prior to shipping?

      • +3

Morning @Hamish125 appreciate the follow up query!

Every single cost factor has been carefully calculated to enable this deal pricing, including time. As such, for this deal we've had to change a few things from the norm, one of these factors is grinding coffee. I know it may not seem like much of a time factor to pre-grind coffee, but with scale time adds up e.g. across a normal week we already spend hours grinding coffee. All that said, as mentioned to @dtingy if your supply is in dire straits there's a number of our options currently at regular price which have pre-ground options :)

        • Hey. Thanks for the quick follow up! I’ll look through the pre ground options :)

    • -1

Hey @dtingy never hurts to ask!

Right now we only have a deal running for whole beans. However, you're still able to get pre-ground options at regular price from one of our other SKUs if you're about to run out of the good stuff :)

      • Any chance of getting the deal with decaf beans?

    • +4

Hey @HunterBargainHunter appreciate the double check. I wish I could track down your missing coffee. However, we are not affiliated with the company in the deal you've linked to, so you'll need to reach out directly to that company to check on the status of your coffee :)

      • -4

Thanks for that, I got your coffee before and it was good. My point was I would have got more if I hadn’t already bought the other deal.
Lots of negs from people who haven’t had their coffee yet.

        • Same page, same book now @HunterBargainHunter appreciate the follow up clarification :)

Fantastic to know you enjoy our fresh coffee, thank you so much for the compliment!

If this deal continues to catch your attention, perhaps you could place an order utilising our unique scheduled/delayed dispatch system, as you can select a dispatch date up until the 30th of May :)

    • +6

How is that relevant to this? Tf lmao.

  • +3

Anyone else read this as "Thank you for being
a blend" and have the Golden Girls theme start playing in their head? Just me?

    • +2

No, but I now have the theme song running in my head. It is most welcome :)

  • @LimeBlueCoffee, is this good for milk based drinks?

    • +1

Morning @deal12345 always better to check than wonder!

I'm happy to confirm our Thank You blend works terrifically well for both milk based and black coffees :)

      • I like my milk based coffees fairly strong (double shot), does this blend have a nice robust flavour?

        • +3

I've had both and would say the popular Brazil SO is more robust, but both make a good cup if you know how to brew.

  • +3

Could you drop the free shipping to $68 for the time this offer runs? It seems a bit painful to have to go for 4kgs or add something to a 3kg order to get free shipping because it's $0.91c short. Hell, just round up the order to $69 and I'd be OK with it!

    • +2

Hey @nezumi never hurts to ask!

Every single part of our pricing factors all costs in, as such I'm sorry to say the free shipping threshold can't viably be lowered during this deal. If it's of any comfort we subsidise our flat rate shipping costs, so on average shipping costs us more that we charge customers. You could always get 4kg and keep any extras in your freezer to extend the freshness until you're ready to get stuck in or split an order with a neighbour :)

      • +2

…or split an order with a neighbour

Maybe get them to pay in Eneloops or powerbanks?

  • Bargain, thanks Tom!

    • Fantastic to know this deal's a real winner for you @sw00p :)

  • Really enjoyed your Timor SO last time @LimeBlueCoffee. Will try this one too!

    • Woohoo @freestyle18 that's terrific feedback to receive!

Thank you so much for another fantastic order and sharing your positive feedback too :)

  • +5

Thanks OP. 2kg for me + 2kg for the neighbour.

Would it be possible add a +$ X donation option button to bring the total cart to $69? Throwing $1 to charity helps bring 3kg to $69 delivered, so win win for everyone?

    • +3

Hey @yojabbajabba you sure know the fast way to make friends with your neighbours…thank you so much for placing such a terrific order with us, it's truly appreciated!!!

This deal and our free shipping threshold have been very carefully calculated to provide the best balance between value for customers and us ensuring we're taking an educated risk (rather than just a risk) so don't hopefully land on the wrong side of risk, as such it's not viable to change any of the pricing. However, the charity part of you idea is something we have been thinking about for a little while, but it's not something we'd implement in the blink of an eye. We'd need to study the legal aspects of accepting donations and thoroughly research implementation and transfer systems to ensure any donations contributes to making a real, positive difference, rather than just get used up on transaction fees and charity organisations' internal operational expenses. I do really appreciate the time you've taken to provide input, please keep the ideas flowing :)

  • Got a kid on the way, so this makes the third scheduled order to keep us awake during those first few weeks. Thanks again Tom, love your beans!

    • +1

Try first few months (i'm 2 months in… just preparing you…)

    • +1

Hey @punkindrublic love your planning ahead skills, I'm sure that'll come in quite handy when your on chauffeur duty before and after school plus weekends, a few years from now :)

Thank you so much for all of your fantastic orders with us recently and sharing that wonderful compliment, your continued support sincerely does mean so much!

  • +1

A bit hesitant with this one after the experience with the Nicaraguan bean. Not sure what happened with that one but aroma and taste were terrible and I could not dial in to get a good crema after using 400g. Had to discard the rest as I could not find a way to enjoy it (espresso, milk, aeropress, cold drip)

Maybe I got a bad batch and hope no one else got the same. I have had good coffee from here before so this is only recent bias for me (I got a delayed batch by 3 or so weeks in).

    • +2

Hey @ToxicPhatGrunt Thank you so much for your recent order and taking the time to share your feedback, I only wish you'd reached out before discarding the bag!!!

Our Thank You blend has those sweet, familiar chocolatey flavour notes, what a few extras to make it a bit exciting, so generally fairly forgiving/easy to dial in. However, our Nicaragua, although delicious, is super unique in flavour due to it's Natural process and if you haven't been exposed to many fruit forward Natural Processed coffees it can be a bit of a surprise, that said when you get used to it you may love it…Anyway I digress, back to your feedback, the reason I wish you'd reached out before discarding the bag is because it seems like your extraction was potentially channeling from the "not get a good crema" comment. This essentially means your dose was too high, grind too fine or a combination of both, thus the water finds the path of least resistance to alleviate the built up pressure. Another path to an under extracted shot is too coarse a grind, too low a dose or a combination of both. Whichever the case, under extraction will usually result in a watery shot, lacking crema and tasting on the sour side of the scale. For future reference if this ever happens again it's relatively easy to fix by simply tweaking your extraction setting, so please always feel welcome to email [email protected] :)

      • I've tried yirgacheffe (?) coffees before that were quite a surprise, fruity and acidic, and took quite a bit of getting used to. Is the Nicaragua like that?

        • +1

          Hey @kiitos appreciate the query!

In terms of comparing two coffees like that, the overall flavour would be notably different. In terms of the flavour being a bit of a surprise for someone used to more chocolatey than fruity coffees, then you're spot on, they'd both have the effect to varying degrees :)

    • The same thing happened with me with Nicaragua! Suddenly I can't get anything out of the machine, even when playing with the grind. I went back to their Thank You blend that I'd abandoned for the Nicaragua and now I can't get anything out of that one, either. I don't know if it's my machine or the beans.

I've just ordered 1kg of Coles medium beans, arriving Thurs to see if they will work in my machine as I tried them last year and I didn't have any problems.

      • Hey @tulip99 appreciate you letting us know!

I can't promise you'll enjoy the flavour, as personal taste preference is subjective, but I can promise the extraction should work well from an objective perspective, provided you have the needed equipment. Please send a reply email to your order confirmation and we'll happily dive straight into troubleshooting the extraction for you :)

  • How does this blend compare to the Brazil São Paulo, Tom? I’m a low acidity & prefer choc notes, having oat milk lattes. From my comparison, this blend might be a bit more flavoursome (strong) compared to the smooth Brazil?

    Great deal as always!

    • Hey @dammit appreciate you taking the time to reach out and thank you for the helpful details!

I wouldn't say this is stronger or weaker than our Brazil SO, but it is notably different. I'm not sure which of our range you've had, but I'd say on the flavour and acidity spectrums it lies somewhere between our Moments to Memories blend and Colombia Cauca Singe Origin. I believe anyone who enjoys our Brazil SO would likely also enjoy our Thank You blend too, the main differences you'll notice is the brightness (acidity kick) is closer to a medium than low and there's slightly more fruity notes, but overall you'll taste chocolatey sweetness :)

    • I think you'll favour the Brazil, since I find it less "sweet" than the Thank You, and oat milk already has sweetness to it.

  • Missed out last time - bought 2kg to try thanks Tom!

    • Terrific @tokyocalling glad you didn't miss out this time!

Thank you so much for your fantastic order, it's truly appreciated :)

  • Hi team, big fan of you guys and thanks again for the special.

I sent an email to you last week regarding Order #4397. Would be great to know if there's something possible.

    Many thanks.

    • Hey @abe465 terrific to hear we're in your good books, we'll keep working hard to stay there!

Appreciate the check in, however if your order is from this year then the order number needs another digit to be valid. I can't see any unanswered orders containing the 4 numbers you've provided and I've answered a few orders containing those 4 number from within the last week, so I'm not sure if one of those was yours? There is an email from Friday afternoon which I've just replied to that has a 5 digit order and contains the 4 digits you've listed. In case your email somehow went to the spam fold or accidentally got archived could you please send a reply email with a "?" now?

      • Just got your email, thank you!

        • :)

  • +1

Just finished 2 kg of this thank you blend last week and I personally do not like it like your other beans. Gonna skip this time and wait for Brazil single origin :).

    • Hey Ruth,

Appreciate you taking the time to reach out!

Completely appreciate that personal flavour preference is subjective, so I know there's no single coffee that everyone will love. However, based of your enjoyment for our Brazil SO (which is wonderful to hear) I am very surprised about your feedback, as this blend although unique is generally similar to our Brazil in terms of flavour spectrum area. I'd understand more if for example you enjoyed our Chocolatey Brazil and didn't enjoy a fruit bomb carbonic maceration single origin as they are so different to one another. If you try another one of our coffees over a 6 on our Fruit to Choc Flavour Scale that you don't enjoy please email us ASAP as I suspect a bit of a tweak on the extraction setting will make you love just like our Brazil SO :)

      • Yeah, probably chocolate note is my to go. I followed the brewing instruction but the espresso from the thank you blend is on the sour side brownish compare to brown - black sweet from the Brazil single origin which I quite like.

        • Although there are some delicious fruity coffees out there, I must admit it is hard to pass up a sweet, chocolatey coffee! Appreciate the extra info @Ruth Hill it is helpful indeed. To clarify, are you saying the shot was a notably lighter brown in colour than a shot from our Brazil Single Origin or is there brownish-brown-black a specific flavour scale of some sort?

          • @LimeBlueCoffee: Yes it is. Thought it was under extraction but time and amount of bean was correct so I am not sure if I missed something. Taste was sourer than the one I prefer.

            • @Ruth Hill: Morning @Ruth Hill I can see this from your perspective, where it may have been a "scratch the head" moment thinking "the metrics seem right, so what's going on…" When a shot channels the extraction yield and contact time may be on point, but there'll be other visual signs the shot have channeled (under extracted). Some of these signs you'll see in the used coffee puck other's you'll see in how the shot pours and tastes. If the shot seems notably sour, plus the shot looks a bit watery/lighter brown as you've mentioned then the shot has channeled. Once you know what to look for it's easy to spot. If you have any extraction queries in the future please always feel welcome to email [email protected] to check :)

  • First time I've bought 2kg instead of just 1kg. This one's hard to pass! In dire straights with about 2 brews of beans left but I'll hold out a few days anyway. Sending my appreciation to you and the team!

    • +1

Nothing renews your appreciation for real coffee like having to drink instant for a few days haha.

    • Hey @ChesoRepresent WOW that's wonderful to hear, very nice number bump, thank you so much for placing such a terrific order with us, it really does mean so much, especially given it's a leap from your normal order!

I'm wrapped to know we're in your good books, I promise we'll keep working hard to stay there :)

  • Call me ungrateful- but bit salty that adding 3 to cart makes it $0.91 away from free shipping. Incentivizing you to pay for 4 bags or cop the shipping costs any chance you can add a tim tam for $1?

    • -1

It does seem rather calculated lol

      • -1

Yeah was thinking that. I'm not sure I have the freezer space for 3kgs let alone 4kgs.

        And also 4 kgs on a blend I haven't tried…

    • +1

Hey @moleski I don't think you're ungrateful at all, because we have not presented you with a gift that you are saying you don't like. I believe that often companies think they are doing customers a big favour by offering a discount. I think that mindset doesn't lead to the best customer experience. Instead I do my best (when you care about a company it can be hard to take an objective view, so I'm sure I don't always get it right and sometimes take things personally) to have the mindset that a deal is not a gift and is simply an opportunity for a potential purchaser. If a customer orders, it's not a gift to the seller, it's an opportunity for the company. Whether an opportunity is enticing is up to the receiving party to decide. If it is then it's up to that party to make the most of that opportunity. For example, a purchaser may make the most of a deal by placing several orders at the discounted price, utilising our unique scheduled/delayed dispatch feature or split an order with a neighbour to get free shipping without ordering more coffee than they'll use in a month or order in bulk and freeze the extra. For the seller, a purchase is an opportunity to turn that customer into a repeat buyer and advocate. With that said, your thoughts are always welcome and I'll do my best to continue to receive them objectively :)

Part of structuring a deal is making it financially viable, so we can continue to do business. With the relatively lower pricing of this deal, some time consuming factors needed to be removed, as time costs money. You'll notice pre-ground coffee (we already spend hours a week grinding coffee, so with a larger deal at lower margin, the time/parts costs would likely be higher than pre-ground sales profit), smaller 500g bags (although it increases the cost per kg, the cost of time to pack would likely be greater) and 3kg (takes longer to pack then 1, 2, 4kg and 3kg free shipping at this price will result making a loss on orders in certain locations) as a pre-select menu option, are three factors not available for this deal. All that said, it's not financially viable to change the structure of this deal in any way right now. However, you have options outside this deal to get free shipping without ordering 4kg, which do not create a financially unviable situation for us. For example, 2kg of our Thank You Blend and 500g of our Moments to Memories blend = $69.69 which means free shipping to you. Another thing you could do is order the 4kg and simple get a neighbour, friend, family member or colleague to take 1kg off your hands. I know you may not like the options for free shipping outside the deal and that's fine, I'm simply highlighting that you have other options to get the free shipping you want without needing to personally consume 4kg :)

  • "Deal valid for orders placed until 07/04/2023". TimTamTom found the TimeTravelTrain. ;)

    • Haha nice detail pick up @Gav thanks for the alert!

Just a quick trip for me to Typo Central (I'm a frequent flyer there) and now I'm back again, all fixed now :)

  • Bought 4kg yesterday when i saw the email come through. Thanks for bringing this deal back again

    • +1

Morning @tnarg how wonderful to hear, thank you so much for another amazing order, your continued support truly means so much :) :) :)

  • Sure what the heck, decided to bite the bullet and see what the fuss is about rather than just grabbing another colesworth bag of generico beans. 👍
I admit I don't know what half the description means (I'm going cross-eyed trying to imagine Plum and Milk Chocolate)
So if nothing else I'm looking forward to being surprised at what I'm in store for :D

    • +1

Hey @Stoibs WOW thank you so much for taking the plunge to place your very first order with us, it truly means so much and is an opportunity we won't take for granted!!!

If you have any questions about interpreting the description of brew guides, please feel welcome to send a reply email to your order confirmation :)

  • +1

does this support the 'thankyou' social enterprise - or does it mean something else?

    • Hey @rwps this is our "Thank You Blend" and is not associated with the "thankyou." group. You'll find all the details about why we created this blend in our November launch Post, :)

  • Just before i order would like to confirm that these are green beans?

    • +1

Hey @verden very glad you double checked, always better to be safe than sorry!

We buy green and sell roasted coffee AKA this deal is for roasted coffee not green. Out of curiosity, why did you think we sold green/raw coffee?

  • I searched for green beans on Ozbargain and you was one of the results.

    • +1

Appreciate the feedback @verden now I'm on the same page. I did the same search just now and it's just because the word "green" is in the post and the word "beans" is in comments. The search shows the words as not written next to each other, but looks like it comes up as a potential match a few down from matches that have the two words next to each other "green beans." Thank you again for taking the time to reach out :)

    • For Green Beans you should be able to do a lot better price that this.

  • Ordered 4kg. Just finishing off some of your Columbian which is delicious and my new favourite for black coffee! Hope this one hits the mark too!

    • +1

Hey @Willyeckerslike that's so wonderful to hear, I'm thrilled to know how much you've been enjoying our Colombia Single Origin, it sure is a special one!

Thank you so much for placing another amazing order with us, it truly means so much and is something we won't take for granted. Fingers crossed you love our Thank You blend even more than our Colombia SO :)

  • Hey @LimeBlueCoffee - Any recommendation for very light smooth coffee ?

    • Hey @bargain-lover007 appreciate you taking the time to reach out!

I'll be happy to help point you in the right direction :)

Could you please further clarify the "light" comment just to ensure we're on the same page?

      • strengthwise the weakest coffee

        • Hey @bargain-lover007 appreciate the extra info!

I assume you mean weakest caffeine level. Sometime the caffeine level does vary slightly, but based on what currently available on our site all the option have relatively similar strength, aside from our Decaf of course. If you're not too keen on a caffeine kick start to your morning, then I'd highly recommend trying out our fresh Decaf. If you just want a smooth coffee with a low or medium level of acidity/sharpness to it then I'd recommend any of the following: Any of the following, Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, our Thank You blend or our Moments to Memories blend :)

  • Hi, hoping you can reply quickly please. I would like to order a few kgs. 1kg of Thank you and would like to try 2 others. Am after a nutty, rich, strong and sweet coffee please. No fruit notes. Had to give away a fruit SO coffee. Thank you for your assistance.

  • Thank you! Is the moments to memories strong? FYI I like strong coffee. e.g. Vietnamese robusta, but not the bitterness. Thanks again!

    • :)

      • Bought a couple kg and the Brazil SO. Thanks! Was going to try the decaf but maybe next time.

        • How wonderful to hear @SydneySurfer thank you so much for such a terrific order!!!

I highly recommend giving our Decaf a shot in the future if you love sweet, strong chocolate flavour notes :)

      • +1

p.s. for some reason the initial message I replied to only said "Thank you!" Not sure if your message was edited after I replied or there was some tech glitch impacting the message I saw…anyway can see there's more to your response, below is an additional response from me:

Our Moments to Memories blend in strong in terms of the flavour notes being distinctive as opposed to subtle. All of our coffee is Arabica, so it will be distinctly different in flavour to a Robusta coffee. Most Robusta coffees have less variance in flavour and lower levels of brightness (acidity) compared to Arabica. High quality Robusta coffee can bring distinctive dark chocolate notes :)

        • Ahh, thanks for the more comprehensive reply! Yes, your reply before just had a smiley face which kind of confused me. 😆
I bought an anaerobic fermented coffee by accident from another roaster and gave it away as it just tasted like rotten fruit to me. (Sorry to those who love those kinds of coffee. Maybe I'll develop a taste for it one day? Not.)

I look forward to trying your decaf next. Yes, I really enjoy strong, sweet, nutty and chocolatey coffee — not fruity or acidic. Thanks again!

          • @SydneySurfer: Hi mate. I didnt like the Decaf. The body is good, but it has a weird sweetness. I like sharp dark chocolate Decaf (which almost all other decafs taste like to me). So this is very different.
Id say the decaf is a sweet hazel nutty, but a little fruity (kinda like citric acid side taste …but its been a long tine since I had descaled my machine..and replicated taste on mates machine. Something doesnt sit right for my taste buds. Interesting side note, it tasted better in a Jura machine (which is basically a "pressurised basket"/ coarser grind machine). So a coarser grind may remove some sweetness.

The Brazilian SO was much better. I call it light milo. Has a real malt flavour. I'd still prefer it a bit more dark choc, but its smooth.

Anyone recommend a nice dark choc bean?

            • @tunzafun001: Thanks tunzafun001! Maybe I'll just get a smaller bag next time I run out. I would have tried the decaf but had plenty Brazil SO decaf from another roaster left.

  • thank you! ordered 4 for may

    • Woohoo thank you so much for such a fantastic order!!!

Love your planning ahead skills. Very happy this deal's a winner for you :)
