That's a great price for a ratcheting driver with bit storage. I would have bought if I didn't already have the LTT stubby.

someone loves wasting money …$80 USD delivered…..

      • +8

Value is subjective. Some would say spending $99 on coloured plastic is a waste of money.

      • @zerog101 Absolutely. I also love having a really nice black stubby :)

  • feels like more useable with the extension bit

The standard size ratchet screwdriver may be what you're after, although it is currently not at an ATL: https://www.amazon.com.au/Wera-05073660001-Nut-Drivers/dp/B0…

yea that one seems better, will wait for a sale

      • Why are 8-degree cog teeth shape advertised as a feature in the pic for that screwdriver?

        • My guess is that this is the gear within for the ratcheting mechanism..

@P1xellat3d: Yeah, it surely is, but is 8-degrees (whichever angle they're about there) more pointy or less pointy? What's the implication?

            I'm just curious.

        • +5

          It's the number of teeth, 360/8 = 45.

More teeth means it can ratchet from smaller movements.

        • Thank you all!

  • Price gone up :(

  • What's the benefit of a stubby screwdriver? Just portability?

    • +7

      Makes your hand look big.

    • +2

      can fit into tighter spaces

    • +2

      better girth to length ratio

    • +2

In cars, PCs, appliances, etc a long screwdriver won't fit.
