"Oops, Something's Not Right" When Paying BPay Bill

I have been trying to pay three different BPay bills via Zip Pay since last week, but when I come to submit the payment, I see an error message, "Oops, something's not right".

Has anyone else experienced this?

    Who are you trying to Pay via BPAY on Zip?

      I'm trying to pay several DEFT bills. Your question prompted me to try paying $1.50 to my ATO account and that went through successfully. Looks like Zip doesn't work with DEFT anymore?? 😭

          Yeah unfortunately it's the payment provider of choice for most owner's corporations

        Yeah same problem here! Just tried my DEFT bill and it gives the same error…

    This thread says that ZIP has blocked payments to DEFT, too many using it for free CC points I guess (me included).

      What a bummer. You'd think they could at least come up with a more helpful error message then 🙄

    I just came across the same error. And as above, yeah, they seem to have updated their T&C's

    "Certain Biller exclusions apply including but not limited to credit institutions, gambling, share trading, personal loans and DEFT rent. "

    Any other good alternative or solution to make Deft payment with minimum or no fees? STRATA bill due by today!

    Same with super contributions, they cracked down on that too
