3000 Pieces Worldwide Limited Edition

Since Promaster was introduced in 1954, we awakened something, and now it has returned: meet the Citizen Godzilla X Promaster Dive 70th Anniversary Limited Edition.

This special Promaster Godzilla collaboration model is designed to celebrate the “King of the Monsters” and marks three and half decades since the introduction of the first Promaster in a new timepiece that is a powerful, dive-ready companion with plenty of titan charm.

A robust 48.2mm gray stainless steel case in a rugged Promaster Dive silhouette anchors the style, with a laser-applied camouflage pattern accenting the look, hiding Godzilla in plain sight while recalling the beast’s scaly skin, and the creature feature continues on the case back etched with Godzilla’s footprint.

This tough exterior has earned the watch the nickname “Ecozilla” from fans, a combination of Eco-Drive and Godzilla.

A water resistance of up to 300M ensures professional-grade diving capabilities, while a high legibility red dial accented with the unique camouflage pattern and bold luminous hands and markers ensures ready-for-action wear.

Paired with a durable and environmentally friendly black polyurethane strap that was created with biomass-derived materials, this iconic collector’s watch is sustainably powered by any light with Eco-Drive technology that never needs a battery. Caliber B873.

This 48mm watch has non-standard lugs which means you're stuck with the rubber strap. Not sure why they do this.

Seems overpriced for a quartz solar dive watch when you can get a Citizen Fugu auto for $349 when on special or a Seiko King Turtle for $499.

pill cyclops on the king turtle - I think it works 👍

      • @Muzeeb I am glad u agree

I think it would look good on you. Fot me, it looks better in the bin.

    • You can get aftermarket lugs that screw into place and take any 24mm strap, but I've only every seen them for the steel (silver) cased versions so far. It does obviously add to the cost. https://www.amazon.com.au/SHANGPULE-Compatible-Eco-Drive-Pro…
Black lugs are likely to start appearing as Citizen make more black cased versions.
I would still like to try one of these, but not at this price point.
Still kicking myself for not deciding that the BJ8057-17X is my favourite and grabbing one when Starbuy had them for $399 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/citizen-bj8057-17x

I know that watch aesthetics are a very subjective thing, but this looks horrific to me.
