Got this email today and I believe it's targeted since some of my friends didn't get it.

• Save 4c per litre
  when you spend $30 at Woolworths and Woolworths Metro

• Save 4c per litre
  when you spend $5 in-store at EG

  I hate these naming things. EG Ampol is not every Ampol, but most of them accept EDR points but not the 4c savings.

    @ATangk EG Ampol is owned and operated by EG Fuel Co Pty Ltd. The majority of EG Ampol locations were formerly owned and operated by Woolworths prior to 2018 under the Woolworths Caltex and Woolworths Petrol brands.

    Ampol Foodary is Ampol Retail Pty Ltd Owned (Ampol corporate owned stores), all mainland Ampol Foodary accept the Rewards Card, but only 200+ Ampol Foodary accepts the 4c discount (with most of the 200 participating Ampol Foodary locations formerly part of the Caltex Woolworths JV which operated from 2002 to 2015).

      Yeah totally confusing and most unreliable.. I gave up trying to understand (and use) these Ampol 'discounts' …. the local Pearl Energy is always cheaper than the Ampol 'discount' anyway and no 'tricky' coupons needed .. 😡 .. !!

  I got the 6c p/l at Ampol EG and collect up to 1000 pts at Ampol Foodary (spend $30) deals in my EDR account, which I'm assuming the later is a variant of the https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/836662 offer.

  Oddly enough the EG Ampol near mine used to be the cheapest around, now the Ampol down the road is cheaper but everyone still lines up for EG Ampol. Not many people seem to know about the Toyota app

      I meant the normal 4c, which I'm guessing why everyone is lining up at EG Ampol to redeem Woolies even though it's more expensive

  I had an existing 10c off at EG offer and thought it would stack with my 4c for $30 spend at Woolies.

  Activated this offer. Went and filled the tank a day later just to be sure of pending activation. Only got 14c off rather than 20c. The "extra 6c off" didn't apply.

  At least AMEX is giving me another $5 rebate for > $60 spend.

      What pissed me off more was that wasn't specified in any of the T&C yet the offer mentioned "save an additional 6c".

  Maximum 14 cents (4c Woolworths fuel vouchers + 4c spend $5 at EG+ 6c this offer). so it voided 5c EG app voucher, 4 cents origin and 4 cents RAA)

  I was getting 13 cents before already so this is only 1c extra…
