Does this have cameras? How's the obstacle avoidance?
Bought it during the JB sale few weeks ago. TBH Not as good as the S series, it doesn't avoid objects too well.
I mean the regular S8 max doesn't have cameras so I don't think it's a blanket rule the s series are better… I'm probably going to hold out for the maxv with RGB cameras… But could be tempted if there was something with good obstacle avoidance before its release at a real bargain price.
How does it go with mopping with the spinning pads ?
Very well. Honestly I dunno how dragging the pad along in the other models would work better. The auto cleaning of pads is also a game changer
@john_conner do you use any kind of detergent or cleaning fluid when using it? I'm yet to do the mopping function so curious on that aspect.
As the machine doesn’t come with any detergent, I have been using “Earth Choice Floor Surface Cleaner 1l” which I had in cupboard. Just squirt some into the clean water tank before refilling so it mixes. No problems so far. I think a conservative amount of any floor cleaner would probably work tbh.
