I purchased an Ultimate Teens gift card last September during the 15% sale and I have literally made like two successful transactions using it.
I have contacted Ultimate gift card several times and only ever get stupid responses like "Unfortunately, this is not a participating retailer in our Ultimate Gift Card program" when they clearly are.
I am at a loss for what to do as most of the balance is still active and I am sick of trying to buy things and the card failing.
Officeworks and the iconic both online, there has always been enough money in the card, the system never seems to recognise the details.
Officeworks will reject payment from my Ultimate Gift Card(s). They work in-store though.
Is that a recent move? because I did place a order online using this card last year.
Not all Ultimate cards work at all retailers. You need to check which ones the Teens works with specifically.
They’re also very temperamental in being accepted online even if supported. Struggled to get Officeworks and JB HiFi to accepted them even with generating the 12/2029 expiry code.
They work fine in person in store and there’s a way to add them as Apple Pay credit.
yeah I have only used them at the iconic and office works and both times they initially worked fine but I have not been able to use since.
Looks like what you have descibed is their company model. Sell a gift card and make it very difficult to redeem. Lots of other people in the same boat…….

Yup I have seen all the posts, the responses they have given me are comical and come a week or two after I contact them at best.

Perfect gift for someone you hateIf you have a relative that you despise but you’re still forced to buy presents for, this is the perfect gift card. Your condescending Aunty or creepy Uncle will spend years trying to figure out how to redeem this card, and it’ll never work with any retailers. You’ll look like a saint, but the recipient of an Ultimate Gift Card will have a terrible time.

Since it's almost impossible redeem anything anyway, there's no point in even loading it up!
Pretty sure if you're an adult it won't work.
I suppose it suggests that it will only work if you're nineteen.
I read the terms and conditions the other day, as I have one floating around.. it seemed to suggest that you can use the card online, but generally only after you have exchanged the Teen card for a gift card from that store - i.e. to use at JB online, you would need to visit JB in person, swap the Teen card for a JB card, then go home and shop online..

Put in a poor review on the product review website. Louise will reach out and is actually helpful. Only way I got my problem sorted. Support team is (profanity) useless.
Which shop do you try to use your cards? You have to make sure you have enough money on the card to cover the transaction. (i.e. if you have $2 left on your card, you can tell the cashier to charge you $2 on your GC and the rest on your other forms of payment.)
