Nah, most of the drivers have other normal jobs too. They just work 80hrs a week to be able to afford a home loan in the lucky country.
Meanwhile, the delivery app companies make a killing while the restaurant's margins diminish. but the tax man is happy.
I used to feel bad but a friend is an English teacher for visa holders. He says they love the food delivery jobs because they make more money than other options.

For some reason it only works with the middle size 427 ml, or at least thats the case for me. that said wilth all the fees even with dashpass, it isn't worth it
I was curious what kind of pint is that and after looking up, 427 ml must be B&J Pint®️ - the smallest in the world.
I used this last night and they cancelled due to no stock and refunded. Five minutes later it was miraculously back in stock but as I'd used the coupon i couldn't reorder. I ended up going to bed with no dessert like a plebeian. Very sad.
