The price has been dropping slowly and I didn't want to wait any longer. I put in for 99 Bikes to price beat bikesonline, which they did. I took that to my favourite local bike shop and they matched it. The cost of a rear cassette brought it back up, but they also put it on for me.

The usual on-sale price at the moment is $789.99 at 99 Bikes & Pushys. All 3 bike shops include free delivery over a certain amount, which this meets no worries.

    I think this is too heavy for free shipping, so you'd need to factor that in if not buying from your local bike store.

    It is heavy. Adding it to my cart still shows $0 for delivery, but I didn’t go any further so your mileage may vary.

    After pairing it with the Wahoo app I received the following email:

      Did you have anything to do with the Wahoo registration because I didn't get any emails about Zwift?

        Nah not at all. I already had an account with Wahoo and had my speed & cadence sensor in the app. In the app I paired the Kickr, updated firmware and that was it. Didn’t even ride it.

        I received the email a couple of hours after I paired the Kickr Core.

        Trying the link again it now says: “ Sorry, your Zwift Membership promotion link was already used.”

        Maybe email their support 🤞

    Just to note, the Zwift “12 months for the price of 7 months”, is based on 12 months of the monthly subscription. Annual subscription comes down to $159.99, was $219.99 (with 2 months free compared to monthly). Otherwise $21.99 a month.

    The new version with the cog is now available from the wahoo store so I'm expecting it to eventually make its way to retail stores.

    Another option is the Kickr Core Zwift One bundle for $1059.95 + $45 shipping.

    It's more expensive but comes with the Zwift Cog, Zwift Click, and a 1-year Zwift subscription.

    The Cog means you don't need to buy a cassette and it makes the setup much more straightforward. Unfortunately, you can't buy the Cog or Click separately (for those of us who already have a trainer).

      It's pretty comparable when you factor in saving $75 for a cassette and $220 for zwift

      Have been looking at the bundle for $1059.95 with the 1 year subscription but a bit confused about this written below "Purchase includes a 1-year membership to Zwift for $160, a $59.99 savings. Membership requires Zwift account and auto-renews after 12 months at $219.99, unless cancelled." So i have to pay $160 on top of the bundle price for the 1 year?

        I thought the same. It's vey poorly worded on their website but I can confirm that after purchase I received an email including a promo code for 12 months of Zwift. The online price is inclusive of the 12 month trial, despite the poor wording on the site.

          Good to know, thanks. I am thinking of buying, but I might wait a bit and see if it goes on sale over the next couple of months. Might rent one for a couple of weeks in the interim to know I will enjoy the indoor experience.

    Currently showing as out of stock at bikesonline (‘Notify me when available’), so 99 Bikes wouldn’t price match for me :(
