I used to go to their Granville shop occasionally probably about 10 - 12 years ago and it was fantastic then. Based on the reviews nowadays, I've never felt compelled to go any time recently. I reckon my local charcoal chicken shop is at least as good, if not better.
Better chicken at any old afghan chicken place, or even Nando's if you're willing to look past their interesting corporate practices.
El Jannah used to be good but the chicken has become so dry and flavour-less. The garlic sauce is the only good thing going now!

El Jannah used to be really good, not anymore, Oporto chilli basting FTW!
There is a huge following of El Jannah outside of ozbargain who'd eat it anyway, it's expensive and stuff is getting lower quality
