  My dad wore a pair of these in the 80's and the 50's.

  He told me some story about he bumped into my granddad in the local diner, just before the fish under the sea dance.

  Anyway, granddad wasn't ready for these shoes, but I love them. They just need auto laces.

    He might have worn chuck Taylor Converse but Chuck 70 in particular was released in 2013 with 70s look. It has a vintage looking style with egret white on the bottom.

    That's the regular classic chuck Taylor you are mentioning, this one is Chuck 70 which is more durable with thicker sole and pricier.

        Yeah it is also chuck 70 but black one does not go on sale often as far as I have seen.

      The 70s are 100% worth it if you wear them more than 7 days a month. The regular All Stars are disposable.
