    I get this comment quite frequently in my posts, and I normally don't respond.

    Those are regular canvas Chucks which aren't that comfortable. These are made with water-resistant leather and have an ortholite insole. The also have 2 upper hooks for ease of use.

    You can also look are the RRP and sale price, compare the differences, and decide for yourself if they're cheap.
