        I'll start with that I'm not a Taylor Swift fan.

        $105 for a coloured release of a 2xLP album is horrendous, albums in the triple digits shouldn't be a thing unless it's their discography (E.G 4LP's or more) or if it's a limited run older pressing.

        Keeping in mind if Taylor Swift remains popular in years to come (it does seem to be a sudden resurgence to me?) this may be worth a bit one day if someone keeps in in good condition.

        I like collecting LP's; but $105 is a joke. I'm not unwilling to pay that for something that's actually rare/special (E.G paid $250 AUD for a 1/20 Priestess Album), but I don't see the value for what is assumably a pretty average new pressing (as most new ones are average at best).

          Totally agree that $105 is nuts, but people are clearly willing to pay stupid money otherwise JB wouldn't sell any vinyl. Market demand dictates price. I've been collecting records for 30 years and it's become an extremely expensive hobby due to its resurgence in popularity. A coloured double vinyl, from someone in demand for sub $50 IS a bargain, weather that makes logical sense or not.

                Let's ignore your assumption that this is an average pressing, and that most of the new ones are.

                Before you say you were referring to the JB price, you saw the title before you came in to comment. You like collecting LPs so you should know the average price for a new release is about $60-80. I'm not a huge TS fan—this will only be the 3rd record of her's that I own—but I'm pretty sure this is her latest album.                 If you said something similar to this when replying the JB price, I don't think you would've been negged at all, because everyone who collects vinyl would agree with you.

                I don't understand why people go into posts just to leave useless/offensive/troll comments. I only comment when I have something relevant to share (both positive or negative) thank the OP, or ask for and give advice. Maybe a bit of banter with members I'm familiar with… and that's about it. If someone makes the effort to post a deal, but I'm not interested, I just keep scrolling and move along.

        I dunno, about those covid albums. Folklore had some standout tracks and some meh ones, didn't connect with Evermore.

        However the previous album Lover is a total banger, I reckon it's her best so far.

        Not saying that why you should buy albums, but it is always some consideration for me especially with such a significantly high "normal" price.

        This is a good price for what it is (I wouldn't buy it, I don't like TS but that's me).

          I listen to music for the lyrics, talent behind the lyrics, skill to play an instrument and to totally bind all of them together.
          I DON'T listen to music because of a social or political agender, nor what beer they drink. They can be white, black, brown, green for all i care. Sexuality of any choice.
          If it sounds good, i'll listen to it. If it's a 'artist' that sings (and i use that term loosely) using a voice altering crap thing, no instruments and zero talent because there's a bunch of people behind the scene making sounds on a computer and gets no credit, i won't listen to it.
