      Hi

      I have tested these thoroughly, they do not and I have never seen them be consistent with the cells inside.

      Despite this, if it meets your needs and price point this is still a good unit from my testing despite being several years old, its still fairly up there quality wise.

      its a lipo pouch cell inside. as deesee linked to multiple teardowns show it and the ebay listing also says Lipo.

      tbh not many powerbanks these days (especially cheaper ones) have actual 18650 or 21700 cells inside. even some xiaomi powerbanks which used to, they look the same on the outside but use pouch cells.

      They didn't, the same looking model is for sale on ebay - listed as 2023 model apparently but it looks just as sexy as the the one from ~2018 era.
