    Should have a trigger warning in the title cause I'm gonna have to do another play through now {Journey}

    Oh wow, had no idea Journey was on PC now. Cheers OP!

  • I think I tried Sky Children of Light before. The game was popular back then. Not sure now. These 3 games look similar somehow?

    • Same developers

    I've got a couple hundred hours in Sky over the last few years, fantastic game to kill time on the train while on the way to work.
    Can run the "Story" part of the game in 3-5 hours, totally free. IAP is purely cosmetic, but the game will for sure manipulate you into spending money on clothes and accessories.

    is SKY just Journey 2?

    Played Journey when it first came out, and what an experience. One of those games you wish you could erase your memory, just to re live it again.

      I must be in the minority. Like a lot of people I was incredibly intrigued with this title. When I did get it and play it, I enjoyed it and didn't feel disappointed at all. However, unlike some other games where I usually have memorable events pertaining to my gameplay, strangely, with Journey, I'm drawing a blank. I'll be completely honest, I wasn't even sure if I finished it until I checked my completion times. And then I had to watch a youtube video of the ending to make sure.

    The soundtrack alone is worth that money. Austin Wintory is an epic composer.

    One of TotalBiscuit's favourites not long before he passed! Takes me back to better days.

  • Loved Journey when it came out, are Sky and Flower just as good?

    • Haven't played Journey but I believe Sky is cut from the same cloth and have played it and loved it.

      If you loved Journey I think you'll love Sky. Such a great game and "story" (no words/text, which I believe is similar to Journey, but still such a touching story). The music & ambient really does a lot of heavy lifting.

      • Does it have the thing where a random stranger shows up who you end up going through the journey with? I loved that about Journey. And you have this vague way of cutely communicating with them haha

        • Yeah you share the world with other players ("Skykids" is the term I believe) and will come across them during your journey (heh) and yes communication is mainly through emotes etc. There are benches in the world that two players can sit at as well as a larger table item that a player can place and others can sit at and in these instances text communication is possible for those sitting at the bench/table. They also have had items (could be seasonal?) that allowed players to leave notes to other players - candles, paper boats, etc.

    Journey, a spiritual experience in Gaming. I cried at the end. I didn't think it was possible for a game to make you feel that way. I was wrong.

      Try Rime.

    • My friend was going through a really tough time when I recommended Journey to him. He cried like a baby at the end too. This game is pure magic.

    • Haven't played Journey, but Sky was the same.
