      I would think this product is something best suited to being put on before there's rust, to prevent it. Not after the metal has started to rust. Perhaps you should get something that cleans off the rust, then put this on.

        Yes, always best to remove rust before painting any surface. You can use a rust reformer or wire brush to remove rust prior to painting

    Could you use on a chain wire fence, or another of your paints? alright has black spray paint however I notice some flaking or damage on the top bar, likely from weather events as outdoor.

      While this will spray over rust it’s always best to remove rust before painting or spraying over by using a rust converter and wire brush

      Better to use high heat paint for bbqs and high heat surfaces
