Optus Sub Hub deal for Prime is back but now down to 3 months free instead of the 6/12 offered previously.

NOTE: Best to activate now as there is no clear date on when this will end, from T&Cs: "Amazon Prime '3 months on us' offer available until withdrawn.".

Amazon Prime is available as a subscription through Optus SubHub to new Amazon Prime members and returning members with an expired or inactive membership.

If you have previously taken up a “6 months on us” or “12 months on us” offer via SubHub, or if you are a current Amazon Prime member, you are not eligible for this offer.

You will be taken to the Amazon Prime site to sign into your account. By clicking ‘Agree’ (below) you are agreeing to the Amazon Prime Terms and Conditions and any Optus subscription T&Cs.

After expiry of the 3 month offer period, your Optus account will automatically be charged the SubHub monthly membership costs for Amazon Prime, currently $9.99/mth, less any subscription discounts for promotional periods you are eligible for.

    Is there any new or better Prime shows with this deal? I have the normal yearly subscription and 96% of the movies/tv shows are absolute trash

      Agree, I think the greater benefit is Amazon's shopping for items in bulk i.e. the Oz Bargain favourites like Red Rock Deli chips, toilet paper etc. The prime streaming service should just be seen as the extra that it is, same as the music service.

      Prime content is pretty decent these days, I reckon.
      Bosch, The Expanse, Invincible, Reacher, The Boys, Fallout….more than enough to get you started, and that's just TV shows!

        I agree for an extra with free delivery it's actually way better value than the rest in my opinion.

    Important to note that this only works if you haven't used the free Subhub offers before. I fell for this last time and ended up paying.

    I paid one year subscription last month and now Amazon is refusing to cancel and refund right away, even pro rata, because I have "already used some benefits" like free shipping.

    Have to wait until Mar 2025 to get any deal like this…
