300

Four decades after its original debut, the fan-favourite Sound Burger portable turntable returns to Audio-Technica’s regular lineup! The AT-SB727 retains the classic, lightweight design of the 1980s model, while incorporating modern updates like Bluetooth® wireless connectivity, a lithium-ion battery, and a USB-C charging cable, making it perfect for parties, picnics, or compact living spaces.

The AT-SB727 Sound Burger offers high-quality sound reproduction with a belt-drive system that plays 33-⅓ and 45 RPM records. The turntable’s Bluetooth capabilities allow you to play your favourite vinyl records wirelessly for up to 12 hours. Or use the included audio cable to enjoy a nostalgic, wired listening experience.

Designed for both portability and stability, the tonearm employs a dynamic balance system in which stylus pressure is applied through a spring. The turntable also maintains stable rotation thanks to the high-precision DC motor. This unique turntable features a die-cast aluminium alloy platter with damping design and a replaceable ATN3600L stylus (sold separately).

    In the first review….

when I discovered a issue with this player. It did sound great but the volume of the speaker couldn't be adjusted up or down. I thought it was something wrong with the speaker I was using but after a lot of research and a call to Audio Tecnica I found out that the turntable doesn't have a volume control. I also discovered that Bluetooth speakers only adjust the volume of the device it's connected to not it's own volume. It does come with a cable to connect it to an amplifier which would work fine I'm told but I don't have one. In the end I returned it. :-(

I have an SL1200 Mk5 that I hardly use but I'm desperately drawn to this.. Feck

Unless you have some space concerns or portability requirements, this is basically a novelty item - especially compared to your already very nice turntable. Save your money for records IMO.

Yeah I agree, it's just kind of cool haha. I wouldn't swap the SL1200 for it and I had two tables at one point and sold the other on since it wasn't used. Thankyou haha.

    • I'll buy you a brand new sound burger to trade your old SL1200 :D

      • Haha you'd need to buy me five of these - my SL1200 is in spectacular condition.

  • letting small children play frisbee with your LP's looks a safer option for vinyl collection longevity than this monstrosity

portable vinyl? jeez…like will people lug this, with a crate full of albums, on holiday…on public transport…walking the dog…all while having the same albums/tracks ready to go on their phone?

    • Not sure why you're getting downvoted. This is as dumb and useless as things can get.
