SCANPAN10

Was in the market for some new cookware, noticed there was a 10% off generic email newsletter coupon. Tested and it worked a treat.

Seems to stack with sale items (as I know Scanpan normally goes on sale at e.g. Myer for 40-50% off).

Free shipping over $100 (pre-discount price? I bought a $110 pot for $99 and it was free shipping).

Do shop around though once you find the specific pan you want, some of them are cheaper at other retailers or Amazon, for example.

Bro, 10% off rrp for scanpan? I doubt you'd find anything cheaper on their site even if it was 30% off

Maybe they should change their name to scampan :)

    • As noted in the post it stacks with their sale items.

I dunno if you can call this a deal when most cookware retailers sell scanpan for 50% off quite often. Just using my last purchase as an example I paid $110 for the same set at one of those cookware stores you find in westfield that has advertising almost like EB games lmfao. Just be sure to do your research, can vouch for the brand though, very happy with my scanpan stuff.

  • Not a deal since other stores selling Scanpan are at 40-50% most of the time

Some of their products are ok, but unfortunately Scampan are an over-rated ripoff 99.9% of the time.

Scampan have terrible warranty. You will throw it away as soon as a tefal.

I claimed a non-stick pan on their (10 year from memory) warranty and they sent it back to me saying carbon has stuck to the pan.

Go figure, despite buying non stick. When the surface sucumbs to carbon build up which sticks and further creates a non stick surface they are nowhere to be seen.
Needless to say, the carbon could not come off.

I went for ausion after that and myself and my partner love it. Pans for life.

I really pushed them for a replacement and they flatly refused.

    • Can't speak to their non-stick but I've been happy with the stainless steel pans I have. I think all non-stick, irrespective of quality, is going to need to be replaced after a few years sadly. It's the nature of the coating, it will invariably wear off over time. Of course that's not to say some non-stick will be better (sounds like ausion might be).

Sounds quite disappointing with their warranty process though, good to know. I do want to buy one new non-stick pan so will steer clear of scanpan!

  • Very happy with my Scanpan products and I do a lot of cooking.I don't use "non stick" cookwear.
