Picked one of these up today at Bunnings Southport for $10.01. They had a stack of these out the front of the isles with clearance stickers. Website still says $39. It might be worth checking your local Bunnings to see if they've also discounted it. (IN 0437564 https://nrby.in/bunnings/0437564)

    Only easy way I can see is:
    Keep connected on charge, use a smart USB plug.
    Connect USB plug through smart home?

    Light might be on even when you turn USB hub off, at least until battery stops :D

    So, I wouldn't get this specifically for a google home set up haha

      Not sure, the light doesn't turn on when charging.
