  • Feels like it might be worth opening a Westpac account for these deals. I assume you’d have to wait for the physical card to arrive though :/

    • Can use digital card instantly on the app I think.

      • You mean for Apple Pay? It seems you have to add proper card details in ShopBack to be considered a Westpac customer. It doesn’t look like Apple Pay would be accepted (but maybe I’m wrong there)

        • It's not Apple Pay. On the app, it'll display your virtual card number, expiry date and CVC number. The CVC number changes every 24 hours to protect you. You can use these details and add to SB.

        • Oh perfect so it’s a separate Westpac digital system. Cool, thanks!

    • Yes I recently opened an account and the physical card comes but there's a digital one for use straight away.

Might as well open St George too. I think Westpac offers have dried up compared to last year whilst St George just joined Shopback recently

      • You have to go to a St George branch to verify id and activate account.

        • +1

I did not have to. It was all online for me.

          • @videlity: Maybe it was just me then? Their KYC team sent me a form to submit at the branch, I thought that was odd considering I was able to open a Westpac account online so St George should already have my info anyway.

      • I actually still think Westpac deals are better than St George ones atm
given Shopbank tend to introduce better deals on "Wednesday"

However, I did also opened a St George to take the advantage LOL

  • Thanks OP, I saw the westpac bonus and made a few orders, then I saw this deal
Luckily the order hasnt been dispatched yet so I am able to call Priceline customer support to cancel those orders

  • Stack with Priceline’s ½ Price Vitamins Sale going on at the moment.

  • hmm did ppl get it tracked with 2% or the higher 17%?

Cancel the order and redo it now.

The priceline offer at shopback is between 2pm and 8pm only.

Got 25$, off with an 88$ order. Thanks OP

  • Just logged in to OzBargain to comment on this (been having logging out issue with OzBargain lately)

The Westpac component for Priceline is per user, even though it advertises as per purchase

I did 2 purchases but only one Westpac cashback was tracked

    • I have the same issue
@gotyourback can you confirm westpac bonus should be per purchase instead of per user?

      • Hey there! Just letting you know about the Priceline Westpac Bonus Cashback: it's capped at 1 per account. So you'll only snag 1 Westpac Bonus per account for any Priceline purchases made under this offer.

        • @gotyourback Please refer to your T&Cs in the offers that state per purchase, not per account. Screenshots as proof.

Here are the screenshots of the T&Cs for both Westpac and St George banks.

I would expect a reputable company such as ShopBack to honour your T&Cs advertised. Otherwise it would be unlawful as it is a misleading offer. Your customers will lose confidence in using ShopBack as your T&Cs cannot be trusted. The time spent in chasing the incorrect cashback or non-tracking may not be worth the $ saved.

    • I used St G and got the same issue. Made 2 purchases and both transactions tracked but only one St G Bonus when it clearly says "Reward capped at $20.00 per purchase".

@gotyourback I made 3 separate purchases at Priceline Pharmacy with a Westpac card but only 1 purchase was tracked with the Westpac cashback. The other 2 purchases didn't.
Please fix as per your T&Cs (Reward capped at $20 per purchase).
      Thanks.

Thanks mate, I have DM GYB as well, see how it goes
Appreciate your effort to bring all the info together

    • +2

Thanks, I’ve already pm’ed GYB and they’re checking with the team

  • I have made only purchase and Westpac cashback has not tracked. Normal cashback has tracked :(. Who has the time to keep following up with SB

  • Update - the SB team manually credited the missing Westpac bonus. It’s in my account now as pending

  • +1

Got the missing Westpac bonus too
