Picked one up.
Not sure if this is only the Norwood, SA store but Dan Murphy's wouldn't price match.
This was only $204 earlier today but a 10% dicount code 'VIP10' was applied sometime after lunch today.

Is it a nice dram? Yes, it's not bad.
Is it $200 nice? Imho NO. Prolly $110 at today whisky prices, even that is pushing it.
Imho, you won't be able to get this for $110, unless its a price error. For sure, there are better drinks out there for $200, its all based on ppls opinion.
That's what op is saying. It's worth no more than $110 at todays super duper inflated whisky prices.
I got this as a present 2 years ago. Not worth it and felt guilty even drinking it.

Geeze I remember paying $120 for this at duty free not long ago. Inflation is a bitch.
How long ago? For the past couple of years it’s been in $180-$220 range.
In 2022, Hibiki Masters Select at Melbourne Duty Free (under Dufry) for $158 less 10% for $142 when ordering online for C&C. Now under Lotte Duty Free it's $240.
Paid $142 retail at Vintage Cellars 1/4/2022, ah the good old days :P
I believe thats just normal Harmony… airport duty free up until 2023 had Masters select for $158…
