  • My mrs wants to get some earbuds for her iPhone

What are some great ones for her without spending the big bucks on the Apple ones?

    Around $100 if possible

    • Scarbir really is the best resource for finding earphones since they're all ranked.

      • Thanks

        Recommend any?

        • I have been using these for 6 months and LOVE them. I didnt want to pay apple prices and they will sync with ipad, iphone and laptop etc no worries.

I saw them a few days on here for 115 or so I believe. I got mine for $124 from Amazon. They just work and sound brilliant. Using them a lot of flights as well

I lost my pair of Jabra Elite 65t last year and bought these on a whim, largely because of the LDAC support for relatively cheap. The 65t never sounded great to my ears even though they generally reviewed well for some reason. Most of the (sparse) reviews were fairly mixed or if positive gave me the impression of bias but these have surprised me with how good they sound. I largely listen to modern metal and from low tuned chugs and bass through the mids there's lots of details and I haven't noticed any harshness to the upper register - I used the smart EQ in the app and it's set them up great.

The wind noise reduction ANC is surprisingly good too and so is the regular ANC and hear-through modes. Although the algorithm sucks when I'm using the whipper snipper and the line hits something hard - so I'm guessing there's a lag on some hi frequency stuff that causes a doubling rather than a cancellation.

Only real issue is when the connection drops from interference or because of my tendency to carry my phone in my front left pocket it seems to take a few seconds to reconnect - it's most frequent after I've been mowing for 30min and I'm drenched in sweat.

Never had a complaint about my voice quality on calls either. I bought them for around this price and I was expecting them to be a holdover set until the Sony WF-1000xm4 were at a good price but it's hard to imagine them being anywhere close to 2.5x better.

    • Your talking about the 1More EVO correct?
