I love this watch!

Despite owning more expensive watches - this is always my go-to-watch on many occasions.

It’s highly reliable and inexpensive - and ‘grief free’ too (no worries if it gets banged-up or if it gets lost as it’s pretty cheap to replace)

IMO, it’s elegantly simple and a durable classic Casio watch. It features black font Arabic numerals (with no date dial) - on a white back aesthetics.

This watch is amazingly light weight & slender too (20g), a no-frill minimalist watch. Its unusually small form factor on large wrists is a plus in my view as the watch basically becomes less of a focus, more so that it’s already minimalist by design.

Its aesthetics is timeless and can pretty much line-up well with anything you wear - or not ;)

I wait eagerly to hear your pitch on your go-to-chambers of secrets

      Thanks?…..Frankly, I’m ‘whoosh’ing this so hard right now lol….

Can it be fake as it is not sold by Amazon? There are too many fake Casios online these days.

It says "Invicta Japan Quartz movement" I did a search and "Invicta" is a brand of watches?

Lol Amazon are funny with their specs. This has a resin lens (not mineral) never trust Amazon specs.

Anyone that buys one should jump on Amazon chat once they receive it & complain. This is misleading & a breach of consumer law.
You might get a partial refund.

Invicta is quite a well known watch brand

Amazon AU does sell and ships this same watch directly for $30.27 at the time of this post - (Scroll in the ‘other sellers on Amazon’ to see their listing). It just so happens that this sellers have it slightly cheaper than them.

I have purchased from both sources prior and both watches look and feel legit - including packaging. (Compared to a Japanese sourced one I have from before)

The product has a lot of reviews as well…Yes, the description on amazon looks a lil sus (it doesn’t have a model number as well) but otherwise the watch is fine.

  • is this unisex? dial looks too tiny, i wonder if it is suitable for women

    • +11

All watches are unisex, just buy what you like. There are no rules. The diameter is 34.9mm so it's suitable for people with small wrists.

Also consider Q&Q watches, these are made by Citizen & are have an Eco-Drive movement (solar) so you won't have to spend money on batteries.

This one looks similar for $37.92

    • It’s a small watch. Looks tiny on a large wrist/ forearm but love that it’s discrete as a result.

I have this. Was $10 in Japan. Great throw around watch for fun

The MQ-24 series have some different big faces for visually challenged people and my watch of choice which has decent battery life and keeps accurate time. Easy to change batteries too. Historically the bands break first, but current one has been great, so maybe a Casio 'improvement'.

Current price at Yodobashi Camera is ¥1,460 - AUD15 mark.

Looks similar to a Swatch I owned nearly 40 years ago.

  • This or Pixel Watch 2 deal posted today?

    • This for retro. Pixel for high-tech.

  • I used to buy them for $5 on eBay

  • Just a heads up, I didn't like it when I put it on cause I have big wrists. But I like the design and simplicity.
