  • I bought a nikon lens off them once I think.

  • One of my friend bought a Canon Powershot camera from them. They sent a printed black and white manual, and also the box looked old. No warranty card though they said they'll provide one.

    • they do the warranty by third party, so most likely no or mack warranty cards.

decent company, usually arrives in about a week but I'm pretty sure they usually have cheaper prices on their own website (no ebay fees and what not)

  • Nikon AF Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6G
( only have manual focus )

    • Isnt AFmeans auto focus?

      • AF-S has a focusing motor within the lens.

AF does not have a motor and therefore all focusing needs to be done by hand

        • Plastic mount and without VR. which is "mostly" needed for zoom lens

        • The focusing could also be done by the motor in a Camera (but the D5100 doesn't have a focusing motor, so you'd need to buy a D90 or somesuch). The summary seems misleading to me, it should mention that the lens sold as part of the kit is not fully compatible with the camera. At first I assumed the 70-300mm was the one that was compatible with the D5100.

  • I don't think ebay is a deal.

Nikon 70-300mm lens non VR doesn't have the built in motor AF. It will AF with the more expensive DSLR. I did have one years ago and for its price its value for money.
