I've had the Brainwavz R1s for about a month now and they became my go-to earphones. They are just amazing. So much detail and so comfortable. I am very surprised to come across earphones like these at this price range. They also come with:

      Me also. :) I like M4s. But I like the sound of these better for some reason. I think the main difference is that these have a clearer separation between bass and treble because of being dual driver. Also these have almost no microphonics (noise from cable rubbing against stuff - because of over the ear design) so I prefer these on the go.

    I have a pair of UE600. Are these R1 better/worse or just different? I'm guessing they will be better in the bass department.

    Received my set today. Very nice and very impressed for the price.

    They sound more 'impressive' than my UE600, but i think the UE600 sound 'truer' and more neutral.

    I also favour the 'dual' rubber tips over the foam comply tips - seems to have a cleaner sound.
