Been told that there's a bucket load of bikes lying round in retail shops, supplier warehouses, etc

Same retailer said that it's gonna get worse (the discounting) before it gets better ..

  I've heard rumours of a major brand with >4000m2 warehouse space that's full of 2024 model bikes while they wait for the 2023 bikes to sell through. Nevermind that there are still some 2022 bikes on shop floors, and they're closing shops well before leases are ending.
