      Its actually harder to find a place that allows you to ride this vs emtb.

      • That I wouldn't know. I power mine with both feet. XTC.

        • yes, XTC and this Trek Fuel can be ridden on a lot of hiking trails and MTB trails… you can even ride on bike paths

          the honda you linked, probably wont be allowed to be ridden on the areas i mentioned above

          • @meong: "you can even ride on bike paths" Not in Sydney, unfortunately.

              @SetTheFaqUp: Yes you can.

              Ebikes have the same rule as bicycles.

              Except if you ebikes can be operated using throttle only.

              This Trek emtb is pedal assist only.

  • New models coming soon I think?

    E-bikes at analogue RRP prices. Not bad.

    Not completely relevant, but I stumbled across this pretty epic news article yesterday: Ukrainian soldier escapes on e-bike delivered by drone

    The soldier even apparently cycled over a landmine and survived the explosion!

    The Battalion Freedom Force brigade said two initial attempts to deliver the bike to the wounded servicemen were unsuccessful, with the vehicle first being shot down and then the drones’ motors burning out.

    But a third effort proved successful, with the soldier making it 400m on the electric bike, before hitting a remote mine and being thrown into the air.

    He limped a further 200m, before being met by his comrades and pulled to safety. The decision was then taken to deliver a second e-bike to the wounded soldier, which he rode for 15 minutes until he reached a safe zone and could be evacuated.

  • This was how much my first car was.
