Thought this was a decent price to cautiously dip my toes into the vertical mouse game.

  • Any feedback from current owners? There is a feedback on Amazon that says it's too small and another feedback with photo seems to show that it is on the small side.

Don't have experience but if you are keen and this is a good price why not buy it, try it and if you don't like it, return it for free

      • I wouldn't expect any issues from Amazon customer service with returning it for free, but just so you know - the listing doesn't state this item is eligible for free returns and it's sold by a 3rd party.

Eligible for change of mind returns within 30 days of receipt
This item can be returned in its original condition within 30 days of receipt for change of mind. If this item is damaged or defective, you may be entitled to a remedy after 30 days.

Seems even smaller than Logitech lift

I’ve used a bunch of vertical mice. First one recommended by an OT, brand was Evoluent. This was as part of an adjustment for a neck injury and some nerve damage. Work paid for it. Its is hands down the best mouse out there. Although it is also expensive. Really expensive.

Some years ago I tried some cheaper options for my personal computer (because I didn’t want to spend that much) but they all had the same issues - they were too small in the hand and they are not ‘vertical enough’. Ugreen falls into this category.

The fit of a vertical mouse needs to be like you’re shaking someone’s hand, not wrapping your hand around theirs. Have a look at how an Evoluent mouse sits in the hands of the user for an example of how this is supposed to look.

You may save $200 in price with a cheaper mouse but if you really need a vertical Mouse, that $200 is about two trips to the physio and a lot less pain and discomfort

      • I’ve used both the Evoluent and the Logitech MX vertical.
They’re very similar although Logitech has better software and connectivity, and is more modern.

      • Why are they using a ahhhh… life size doll for their model?

To offer an alternate perspective, I own a Logitech Lift, a Logitech MX Vertical, and an Evoluent 4 Small. This is the order that I prefer them in, and the reverse order of purchasing them. I started using vertical mice late last year to address elbow/forearm RSI pain.

If I could return the MX and Evoluent for another Lift, I'd be a very happy camper.

Very interesting feedback! It’s obviously something that is user specific given your biomechanics. We were using it for different injuries though which probably explains different perspectives. I found the lift to be small and my themar area activating more meaning I had more referred pain up my arm.

      • Evoluent is best. Having 3 mouse buttons is where it shines. Being able to open a link with the middle button rather than via the mouse wheel makes a big difference.

      • small hands use smaller mice. simple llike that. if one believes Evoluent is the best for this person, it doesnt mean this mouse is equality good for other people. If people can have a good vertical mouse AND also save $200, why not?!

+1 for Logitech MX vertical. Had the original Evoluent that stopped working after 2 years. Bought some generic brand $30-40 vertical mice, lasted less than a year before playing up. Then bought an Mx Vertical which is still working/charging ok after 5 years of daily work use, so I bought a second one for home use.

      • For another perspective, I’ve had MX Vertical for about 5 years too and find the mouse great for me. The software is what annoys me, particularly the issues that have arisen.

One issue is that there doesn’t seem to be a straightforward way to prevent it from waking my Mac, I’ve had to install the Shortery app and triggered radios to turn off/on with sleep/wake.

Another issue is on my Windows machine it prevents other devices from functioning normally - for example I have to switch off the mouse to get a Yeti microphone to connect to the app, then can switch the mouse back on. Found that out via forums and it blew my mind.

We also own an Anker vertical mouse and it feels light and cheap, clunky shape and chews through batteries, so MX Vertical is my preference aside from the bugs.

      • My Logitech MX Vertical just lasted over a year and now I have problems with the left click button. Unfortunately it's outside warranty as well. Apparently it is a common problem for the MX Vertical. Luckily I got it on sale but don't know if I would purchase it again.

  • This small talk has got me feeling mousy.

  • Just comparing the dimensions of both the Lift and this mouse, this one seems larger?

I use the OW J Burrows mouse which I feel us just the right size for my hand. The Green is slightly smaller I believe. I use the Lift at home and I feel it's too small.

What I don't like about the OW mouse is it goes too sleep every few seconds of inactivity and I need to click it to wake it up. After a while it became annoying.

    • Yeah its pretty impressive how cheap the officeworks mouse is for a 'specialty' mouse.

      They're great!

  • S version standing for silent is better.

S one is my office mouse everyday

  • I've had an Evoluent at work which was great.
Picked up a cheap no name brand vertical mouse for home. Was ok for price, but no where near as good as the Evoluent.
I now use a Contour RollerMouse Red. This is great to use, but is expensive. Luckily it was also a work purchase.
