$10 cheaper but not via Amazon. Returns would be way easier via the Amazon deal right, especially if you have issues post warranty… (Which Amazon have been great with).

  • How do these rate compared to the big boys?

    • You can compare at rtings.com. They're great value but obviously not as good as $500 Sonys

  • This or Tozo HT2 for $67.99?

Now a true OzBer would never pay $99.99 Existing Members price, they would create a new account with their alternative email address to get the $10 discount.

  • How are these for the gym? They look like they're lightweight enough to suit. Need something for weightlifting, don't really like having things in my ear.

    Op,
How much more for 45 and whats better about it?

    • There's a $50 difference, I'd like to know why OP likes the Q45 more as well!

    • I bought the Q45 first and think it's excellent bang for buck compared to Sony etc.

The Q35 are lighter, the earpad foam much thinner than the Q45's nice memory foam, and the buttons are clickier to click. I don't have the Q45 with me to compare (they're being kept at my child's school, hence my desire to get a secondary pair), but I think they let in more noise.

They just feel obviously a step down, which you have to weigh up against the cost. At $114.76 the Q45 is a no-brainer. I'm surprised that deal doesn't have more upvotes.

  • I got these a couple of days ago and have a few issues which seems to systemic. I get intermittent popping and crackling when using the LDAC codec and I have no volume control from my phone, it all has to be done via the headset.

I contacted support only to be told that it's a limitation of bandwidth which seems like a cop out, why bother offering LDAC support then?

I have a pair and they're excellent value for money. Great for sitting on public transport or a plane.

I found that I needed to tweak the equalizer in the app a fair bit as they're bass-heavy. Bass is subjective though!

I wouldn't recommend for exercise as they'll get hot.
