Printer Pro for iPhone Free Drop from $5.49

690

Printer Pro is the application that lets you wirelessly print from the iPhone. It can print directly to many Wi-Fi printers and to any printer attached to your Mac or PC via helper application installed on your computer.

Only one comment posted on itunes said also works with iPad.

"Great App. Couldn't get it to print on my old iPhone4 but just checked it out on my iPhone5 and new iPad and it prints perfectly to my PC desktop and direct to my hpC7280 printer."

    • There's a separate iPad version that isn't free.

But the iPhone version should still work in 2x mode, and as you care about what it can print, not what is on screen, that should (theoretically) work fine.

  • Good stuff installing now thank you.

I've been using the "AirPrint Hacktivator" for ages now and it works well, no need for any app, just install a driver on your PC and it makes your iDevice think any printer attached to your computer is an AirPrint one! :)

i have no use for this app but i downloaded it anyway,
why? because im a digital hoarder and free is free.
    good deal :)

  • Thx. Works with the Xerox DocuCentre. Going to try with my Canon MG**** when I get home.

  • I want to point out that, you can install NetGear Genie on any PC/Mac, then it will make any connected (USB/NET/WIRELESS) printers AirPrint compatible. So any of your iOS device could just print easily and natively via air print, no need to purchase/install such apps.

You don't need Netgear product to use this Netgear Genie.
The downside is you'll need to have a server running around.
Have you got a home/windows/mac server already?

    • Do you mean an actual server (running Windows Server etc) or just something that's always switched on?

a windows box will do. Doesn't have to be a real server.

Any PC/MAC could run Netgear Genie and you have your printer turned into AirPrinter.

Linux box has its own way to support airprint.

    • This has compatability issues with iOS6… Anyone have any other solutions that work?

  • I use this and can print directly to wireless printer that is wirelessly connected to the router, no need for server or other pc/laptops to be on.

    • But any iOS device you want print via this, you'll have to install the apps. Not to mention your guests' one.
As I said, if you already have a pc/mac running around, Netgear Genie could be better solution. And normally I never turn off my notbook.

  • I get this message when I try to download the desktop app:
The app is from an unidentifed developer

  • Thanks OP, downloaded it but it won print to my Canon MX885 :-(

    • Failed on my Canon too.

    • Brother HL3040CN is out too :/

  • print to pdf doesn't work either, i wonder why its free

  • it works for me so far.

  • Expired - it's back up to $5.49
