  • Is it the same as the one Bunnings selling? If so, Bunnings has the 10% beating guarantee.

  • Aluminium, so no rust and a 3 year warranty - seems like a good buy.

Has anyone by chance bought this previously to be able to give some feedback?

  • Ikea has similar for 99(Does Aldi one has a base)

    • Tae that links to US ikea. I'm not sure if oz store has one.

I bought 1 of these from bunnings for the same price…

Walk away quickly… you will get what you pay for unfortunately…They are CRAP … the slightest wind will bend the frame. Both (I got a replacement and it did the same thing…the same day ) snapped from light breezes. I ended up getting my money back.

Save your dosh, spend a little more and get something that lasts.

Nice try though poster, sorry that the product is substandard

    • Did you have it open when it bent?

      • Yeah Kiwi…

Very light breeze, the aluminium tubing is maybe 2 to 3mm thick …light breeze buckled the arms on both the umbrellas , one split like a can of bakes beans haha

        Not so Crisp !!!!

        • Ok. Thanks. I will give it a miss.

    • Thanks for the info mate, it was tempting, but like the saying goes, you get what you pay for, il pass on this one

Hang on, you bought one from Bunnings but you are neg'ing this deal from Aldi?

I agree that you get what you pay for (well most of the time), but neg'ing this deal isn't fair on the OP.

I bought one of these and regret it, set it up on a calm day and falls over with the slightest breeze. Have to use bluestone blocks to weigh it down. Seems to bend from its own weight. Would be ok in a fully enclosed area… Inside your house for example.

        • in the picture on the aldi page it looks like they've set it up in the bedroom.

  • Ok.
