      I prefer to wait for sale (and wait for the usual upsized for ~20% total, which happened often). Myer RRP is terrible. Counting on cashback is probably not the best idea

    Can anyone comment on fastest way to set up a StG, BoM, BSA account? These non-Westpac deals are really annoying…

      Go onto their site and open one. Make sure to verify your ID at the first step otherwise they don't send the card out. The card needs to be sent to your local branch so be aware of that

      • Yep so nothing can be done without going to a branch? Can I get a card / card number instantly after that, like Westpac?

        • I did not need to go to a local branch.
          But I don't think you can get the card number instantly like Westpac.

        • Correct in my experience. And nope, you need to use the number of your physical card.

      And not only that, a few of mine were tracked OK for both part, then they rejected the bank bonus for no reason (was with Westpac), eventhough I clearly paid in full with my Westpac card. Still trying to chase the CS to resolve it. Seems to happen more with Myer

      • assume you've also linked that specific westpac card with your SB account?

        • Yes, only have 1 westpac card and it's the correct one when I checked my internet banking. Tbf, I've done quite a lot and most of them were OK, just 3-4 failed (after it was initially tracked OK), so do check your pass transactions, especially if they're big cashback

    • well the STG is capped at $25, don't get too excited. still is 1/2 price and a bit.

    Anyone else who had their purchase tracked but at the incorrect rate? I bought luggage and only tracked at 10% instead of 20%

      Same problem for me. Mine has tracked at ~9%. Do you have the screenshot of the deal by any chance. It will help to chase them up.

      Bought luggage and got about 9%ish - going to cancel the order. They jebaited me.

  • I also bought luggage and didn't get the right amount of cashback tracked. Has anyone had any luck sorting it out. Their customer service is terrible and online chat doesn't exist they email you back a few days later

    • Same. They asked for order confirmation and now it has gone to some other team to look into. I am wondering if I should bother collecting the item from Myer.

      • Exactly what happened to me after they sent me a picture saying it was 9%. I replied with my own screenshot proving the 20% and got a reply another department is investigating. Days to wait for a reply. Bloody joke!

      • Also if you do collect i suggest checking it over well. Some had a few marks! For some reason they take them all out of the packaging. Only way to get one boxed is if its posted to you

  • Nothing seems to be tracked correctly these days. All my 10+ purchases from the last 3 days (from 3 different stores), either didn't get the bank bonus tracked or wrong amount of tracking. They seems to have multiple regression issues with this StG/BoM/BSA implementation
