Huge price drop on this nice little point and shoot. Shipping is cheap ($10 for regular, $25 for express) bringing it to a total of $160 all up using amazons exchange rate, cheaper with 28degrees of course. Goes for about $300 locally.

    For some reason there is no price history on the red, but the black is same price and does have chart showing it has halved in price since March 2012.

          I tested the Black one, although the comment I copied was from the red one*. But looks like there is a lack of back end processing on the red one. Although with Amazon, they may just refuse to ship if its an error.

          Just mentioning this not to stop people as its a good deal, just to set an expectation that it might not go thru. I'd personally make a purchase but wifey would kill me…

          BTW its got a 30X Optical Zoom as well.

    Will this be ok for filming soccer games? Is the zoom decent enough?
    I have a nikon d80 with a large zoom lens but I can't find any video cameras that have interchangeable lenses..?

    the long range of focal length (24-720mm equals 30x) is good but max aperture at f/3.1 is not good enough for low light. However, I think at this price is a bargain.
