i don't want to be a spelling nazi — but i guess i will be a spelling nazi with one of the images in the link:
    "Random secutiry code"

Imho, spelling is so important, especially when it comes to security products. It shows lack of attention to details. I cannot assume the seller actually check how secure the product itself is.

      • They're just branding whatever from china (see SOLITY as another version). "hey smart locks are cool let's sell some". Not really much detail/engineering here.

Is the wifi inbuilt without the need for an external bridge?

    • Hi! The wi-fi is built-in!

By connecting to a Wi-Fi network, you can use your smartphone to lock or unlock door from anywhere with an internet connection. This technology enhances accessibility and security, allowing users to grant temporary access to guests or monitor entry remotely. Wi-fi access simplifies door management and provides real-time notifications, offering a modern and flexible solution for controlling access to the property.

Does it integrate with HOOOOOOOOME ASSISSTAAAAAANT?

    • Our DDL door locks are not compatible with smart home assistant.

I'm looking for one for sliding patio door. Do you have one?

My door is only 2cm thick, but I think this is common thickness for balcony sliding doors.

    • Unfortunately, our DDL smart door locks are designed to work only with outward or inward swinging doors.

  • These must be a popular with the blokes staying in maximum security accommodation.

will other brand RFID Card or unbrand RFID Card work ?

    • No, our door lock will only work with fobs/key tags from the same brand. This restriction is in place to ensure maximum security and protect against unauthorised access.

Is there any locks for the mash screen?

    • As long as your mesh door opens inward or outward and meets the required installation dimensions, it should work. However, we only provide installation services for wooden doors.

  • Any deals on SAMSUNG SHP-R80?
    Thanks

    • The SHP-R80 is currently priced at $995. If you're in Melbourne, we offer free installation and include a complimentary screen film protector worth $48.99. Additionally, you'll receive an extra year of electrical warranty, extending the total coverage to 3 years instead of the standard 2 years.

This company is trying too hard to make this lock look like a Samsung product. For example, why does their logo say "Samsung Smart Lock" next to "DDL"? Are they trying to mislead people into thinking DDL is a sub-brand of Samsung? They are even using Samsung fonts ("SamsungSharpSansBd") in their marketing material for this DDL lock. Even the model name follows a very similar pattern to Samsung's. The rest of the site, including buttons and icons, also have an uncanny resemblance. It's quite deceptive, if you ask me.
There are plenty of no name brand Digital door locks on Amazon and eBay for under $200. What makes this any different to those to have $350 RRP , or is it just price anchoring , so they can give a big discount ?

Seems like a homebrand ddl, u can pay $50 more for Samsung brand @ https://www.bunnings.com.au/samsung-smart-keyless-digital-de… thx @opt for having our backs, ozbarginers be wary!

    • Yes, the front looks identical to this Solity GA-60BK, so probably a re-branded Chinese ODM lock
