Looking to purchase noise-cancelling headphones as a gift - the noise cancelling part is very important so need some recommendations on headphones that really do this well & have quality sound.
Of course wouldn't be OzBargain without a budget so ideally with a budget of up to $250-$300. The most cost effective the better!
Are they better than my $30 Razer Opus X though?
2nd vote for Sony ULT I think hybroid has a solid recommendation.
if noise cancelling is important Sony has the best ANC and the ULT Wear is within budget through that deal.
also it's marketed as Ultra Bass headphones, but the ultra bass mode is optional and there is custom EQ in the app which allows you to tune the sound to your preference.

Was going to say the Google Pixel Buds Pro for $149, however they seem to of reverted to $299, cracking earphones

Sony XM4's would be the go at this price point.
Bose QuietComfort 45 would be my recommendation. They released a firmware update last month for outdoors which cancels the wind. It was a bit of an issue before, but now they noise-cancel very well in any scenario.

For some reason the microphone quality has dropped though, have had to change to other headphones for work calls.
Airpods and QC25/45 is my choice

I know you're after headphones but I got the Sennheiser CX plus earphones off Ebayplus with the 25% off sale for $85. Great sound and Noise reduction. So good I got a second pair. Selling elsewhere for up to $300.
Sony XM4 is a pretty good choice, I recently bought it and I like it

Best is subjective. General consensus is Sony XMs have best noise-cancelling while Bose have best comfort. Use the search bar to see what offers are currently available and compare to expired deals.
