I also got this email and it’s legit because the wording at the bottom, but it’s for 1000 points, maybe yours had a typo somehow but I have a couple Myer one accounts and all received the spend $ get 1000 bonus points.

  • If I got that, I would be spending the required amount ASAP before they can withdraw/correct it!

i did receive the same email, and thought it was spam.

  • wife got the same offer. What are the chances they honor?

You could count it on no hands

I got the email, but when I go to offers, it’s not there (but there’s a Clarins one)

Same here. My partner got the same offer.

    Just an update
I called Myer One to confirm. This was their error. I was informed that they are preparing apology email which we should receive shortly. The support person mentioned this before i even said any word. So i guess they are well aware of the issue.
It should be 1,000 bonus credit, not $1,000 e-voucher.

I got the same email, says $1000 e-voucher. I was too scared to click any links

I got this too… How do you stuff up two sections in the body copy AND in the subject line????

  • +3

Their new CEO is the former Qantas Frequent Flyer MD. She will make you spend $100k to get a toaster with points

  • Got this too and clicked the link but nothing shows up.
Received another email at 3:29pm saying it's acutally 1000 bonus credit.
Was going to order something tonight tho lol too bad

  • interesting - have not received any emails advising this error

  • I just contacted them. Error :(

What a joke! I too spent 30+ minutes on hold to find out it was an error. How can they stuff up that badly to mention it multiple times in various parts of the email!
Still no email to say it was a mistake!

stuff up that badly to mention it multiple times in various parts of the email!

It could just be a variable, filled within various parts of the email.

  • More like spend 1k to get $10.00 …

I got the offer email, followed by the error email about an hour and a half later.

  • So at what point would Myer have to give out some sort of compensation to people who were actually induced to make a purchase because of this? It'd be one thing if this was a case of a price error where they just gave full refunds and never shipped the goods. But in this instance, since you could active the offer and then make an in-store purchase, people could've already paid and received their goods before ever receiving notice that the offer was rescinded.

  • Quickly spend $150 before they withdraw the offer via apology email. They'll have to honour it.

    • I had the same thought when I got it yesterday at 3.52pm however I got a second email at 5.34pm advising it was an error and should have read 1000 Bonus Credits. Big mistake.
