Does this work with Rydges promo code?

    • It's a bit of a gamble isn't it?
Will the Rydges promo end before we use our discount Gift Cards.
Hmm. I noticed that AHL Holdings owns both Rydges and Greater Union.
Rydges Hotel Discount + ExperienceThis Gift Card Discount = Cheapest Greater Union tickets in years. Thanks, OP.

  • If you are paying by this gift card, can you still use other promo codes?

    • Nothing in the terms and conditions says they won't. I don't know if they have mechanically blocked it or not. Good luck arguing with them if it doesn't work. getting sense out of Event is like conversing with a machine.

U can do that , as u enter the promo code in ticket page, gift card enter in last payment method page just like choose PayPal or credit card. So it make the ticket (10+1.1)x0.75=$8.325.

BOOO YEAH, now I can go watch Twilight!
    (lol i keed)

    • I didn't know whether to pos or neg you for that…you're getting the benefit of the doubt, don't let me down! ;)

Your better off buying a 10 pack voucher for $12.5 a ticket

Vs $16? How much are movie tickets nowadays?

    • Those 10 packs of tickets usually have restrictions such as not being valid for sessions after 5pm on Saturdays.

The gift cards can be used towards any session on any day of the week.

  • rydges does not work anymore. tried it today

      Just tried it. It works.

    • Just tried it as well and it worked for me. I don't think it works on some advanced tickets like "The Hobbit".

This makes every movie $8.33 each. Why on earth does this only have 10 votes whereas previous deals for $9.50 with a limited season has tons more votes?

    Grrr!!! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻)

  • great deal. thanks OP.

  • As far as the terms go it looks like these can be used to purchase the 10 ticket booklets..

  • Just bought 1.

  • Has anyone received their gift card(s) yet? I placed an order on Wednesday the 28rd and still have not received mine yet over a week later, which is pretty disappointing to say the least.

To be frank, Australian businesses have no right to complain about sales going overseas when they can't even manage to do something as simple as ship and deliver a gift card within a few days. Heck, even my Amazon UK order which was placed on the same day only took 7 days to arrive (received it yesterday).

    • Finally received it yesterday (9 days/7 business days). Would have liked/expected it to have been a lot quicker, but I'm glad it came eventually.
