[eBook] Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Featuring The Last Ronin - 16 Kobo eBooks for $27.33 @ Humble Bundle

The heroes in a half-shell are back in some of the grittiest, most action-packed stories they’ve ever been a part of in this bundle of comics from IDW! From co-creators Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird comes The Last Ronin, the gripping final story in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic saga. You’ll also get 15 volumes of IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collection, presented in their recommended reading order. This is your ultimate chance to dive into this awesome series. Plus, your purchase helps support the Make-A-Wish Foundation!

Quite a popular comic book bundle on Reddit so I thought I'd post it here.

The bad news is it's Kobo only (you can strip the DRM from the files though) and the series isn't quite complete. These only go up to issue 124 and they've stated that the run will end at 150. Volume 16 covering #125-132 comes out in Aug 2024.

  • I just bought a physical copy of The Last Ronin today. Loved the cartoon in the early 90s but never read the comics. Any recommendations in addition to Last Ronin?

I've never read any of these but did enjoy the cartoon. These comics are pretty pricey, even the digital versions. I mean, just the first digital book out of the 16 books you get here is $26.56 to buy on Amazon AU, while the hardcover is $58.92. I think even if you just have a passing interest in the series (which it seems you do) then you probably won't get a better deal, at least until they finish everything which could be years away.

Where did you get The Last Ronin from?

Thanks. I picked it up off Amazon for $34.80. Comics do seem expensive but paper and cover quality (in addition to the art and story) of this one are very high, so it's worth it IMO.

I've had a passing interest for a while via Humble and over the last few years? I've noticed people do mention this series as something that they've been waiting for. Lots of happy people today.

If you like comics I would keep an eye on Humble as they have lots of comic bundles these days.

Ironic - the IDW series ended this month (?) at issue 150.

Must say - great read though.

        • Possibly as individual issues but not via a IDW collection. I only looked at the IDW collection stuff.

  • Any good kobo deals?

    • You don't have to view these on a Kobo device unless you really want to. Is that why you are asking?
