Try to buy Kayano 18's in Australia for that price..

    • Great deal IMO

Was looking at the Nimbus 14 previously (on Amazon's Endless, before it moved to Amazon fashion) - equivalent to these Kayanos except for neutral/underpronators rather than overpronators. Was at $120 but didn't ship to Australia, ended up buying at Wiggle for $135.

Both the Nimbus and the Kayanos are amazing running shoes

    • Agree with you. Some brands are expensive just due to BRAND. There're always people "chasing" those brands… like stupid GUCCI

Wish other colours were available.. I want Kayanos just not in black. Perhaps I should check out Wiggle!~

Edit: Looks like Wiggle no longer shipping Asics internationally. :(

"Unfortunately, Asics have decided to restrict Wiggle from shipping their products to you.
As an alternative, why not take a look at the fantastic Wiggle ranges and prices on other leading Running brands. Including Nike, Adidas, Salomon, Mizuno, Saucony and 2XU to name just a few"

    • You could try startfitness.co.uk
I had a quick look and couldn't see any shipping restrictions for Asics. They're more than $120AU though

    • Try startfitness.co.uk and use coupon TRACKB2011 for 10% off after VAT is removed at checkout.

      • Thanks, not many sizes but aleast they still ship.

  • Rebel selling the black colour for $189.

  • I think I got mine for slightly cheaper in one of the wiggle sales earlier in the year, this is a good price though!

    • Very low feedback on that seller - buyer beware on that one.

      • but looked into their feedback sound ok, still looking for my size though

    • Isn't that $126 delivered?

All the way to Hungry Jacks ;)

      • snapping photos with their pentax Q's as they go.

    • Have you seen the price of petrol! ;P

  • If you want a different colour, try http://www.startfitness.co.uk

I bought a pair yesterday for $118.40 (total) using the 10% coupon code: athleticos11 (as provided by doperst on the eastbay deal).

bought it for $120 delivered from startfitness.co.uk which included free socks about 3 months ago.

From the quick look, its still the same price there. Very fast delivery too :)

ntoe: it only LOOKS like 89.95, but as you go through check outs, it reduces down to sub 80 as VAT is taken off or something. then you find a 10% off coupon that is generally around to drop it even further :). ends up about 120 delivered at the end.

I would reckon you had better get in quick before Start Fitness get the call via the Aussie Asics retailers to stop sending them!

    • i recently bought from startfitness.. but cost $145 and no free socks.
(they have cost $120 delivered with coupon)

There were some better deals for 17s but not in my size

  • I'm wondering… is it worth paying the extra $50 or so for Kayano 19's from a reputable ebay seller?

    • +1

I am a female - The Kayano 18 and 19 feel the same inside to me (have both - I am sure the male version would be the same). Personally I would save the money and get the 18's. I run around 45km's per week in these, but am going to check out the Nike Free Run shoe today (lighter but less support) as I am trying to increase my speed and have heard good things about them.

Having also owned and run in the Nimbus 12 and 13 - the Kayano offer a lot more stability, especially good if you are running longer distances.

I am in no way an expert, just going off my own experiences.

      • Thanks for the advice, I reckon I'll get the 18's.
To save on shipping I bought a few pairs when I got my 15's; they're nearly all worn out so it might be time to upgrade!

      • Nimbus and Kayano shoes are different - Nimbus is for people with neutral and under-pronation, Kayano is for overpronators.

        • Why is this getting a downvote? I think I am neutral. Should I get a Nimbus instead of Kayano?

    • +1

      No it is not.

  • How does the sizing compare to Nike? Does a size 12 in Nike = a size 12 in Asics?

  • I feel so sad living in Australia. Have to pay premium for everything.
