  • I guess you guys suffer if the main click frenzy website crashes… lol

  • Click what??

  • Nope, never heard of this 'click frenzy' you are talking about. Possibly due to the fact that none of the sites were up.

  • +3

I hope you guys didnt pay too much for Click Frenzy "access". It's been inaccessible since launch, and even now is only responding intermittently.

    • I was talking with one of my friends, and mentioned that I had heard that the ClickFrenzy guy was asking for up to $3,000 - my friend said that they told him $10,000 !

      • I'd sue if they didn't refund the money. I don't understand how someone gets that much for making a simple directory with a few hundred items. It takes a few minutes to set up and you can outsource the site for a couple of hundred.

      • Ouch… Even at $3k, thats a LOT of cut price tees to sell and/or new customers to attract to make back the cash. And considering all the momentum of people checking it out at the advertised 6pm/7pmDST was completely lost in 3+ hours of downtime, you've REALLY got to hope it picks up tomorrow or there's going to be some retailers who just wasted a lot of money on an online experiment that failed hardcore.

EDIT: Some numbers to throw on things:
        http://www.smartcompany.com.au/retail/053005-how-much-does-a…

"Ads on state-wide leaderboards, excluding the home page, cost $30,000.

There are cheaper ads available, with prices ranging from anywhere between $2,000 and $6,000 to market products on a specific category page, while 30 ads available in a “terminating category” placement are worth anywhere from $3,000 to $6,000 each.

But the costs don’t stop there. For each business taking part, they must pay $1,500 for an “initial brand set up” and a first listing, while additional listings cost $750. "

        Wooooowww.
