    Hi jv Yes your right the price has gone up $10 from previous unfortunately that is due to a price increase from the manufacturing sector, we have not increased our normal supply and install price of $495 with 2 remotes as it is easier to wear an increase at the standard price, with this discount our margins are very slim, as we only do these xmas promotions once a year where we offer an opener with 3 remotes as you will notice from previous listings. This is more of a Brand awareness campaign.

        Yes I'm being straight out honest about it, we are offering a good deal why do you think companies have sales, there are many reasons

        1. Introducing New product line
        2. They may be getting rid of old stock.
        3. Brand Awareness
           4….

        When Companies put items on sale they are not exactly increasing their profit margins. Being honest about it doesn't change this.

        $140 allot of money to me, I guess maybe not to you.

    You're right about the website it is getting quite large and we will be implementing a search bar soon to help people navigate it, have you got any suggestions on how we can improve it?

  i'd mainly focus on integrating the web shopping section with the product category sections.

  as a business it makes sense for you to have the products split by brand but as a consumer we're actually (generally) more interested in comparing models, features and, in this ozbargain context, price, between models and brands.

  i like that you do include installed cost as well as kit stand-alone cost, once we find the products!

  for someone like me, broad categories like 'residential' 'sliding gate' 'solar' etc would be helpful.

  i think i found what i'm after in the FAAC - 391 24V ARTICULATED ARM DOUBLE SWING GATE OPENER, solar compatible, will do some research.

  Thanks this is very helpful, we will work at integrating the product section more with the online shopping and maybe a product comparison section, comparing prices, features etc, with reviews on the different products.

  Yes with regards to the categories we are constantly shuffling things around trying to make it easier from the customer point of view I know there are a few links and menus which are not fully operational but we are on top of it, hopefully the search bar will go a long way in making it easier to navigate.

  I agree about the menus we were actually discussing that today about making some broader menus to help simplify things.

    Unfortunately MULTI97 as there was not enough feedback from this offer and OZbargain has put a delay on us posting unless this gets some more positive feed back, unfortunately as another OZbargain member said to us "I agree your deal is good value, unfortunately your product and service is only useful when required."

    The issues is unless people have a need for one people don't see the value and also we have had quite a few people call and book but not + the deal, it is all about the + so please if you agree and think its a good deal please + the deal BUT ONLY IF YOU THINK ITS A GOOD DEAL or we might be accused of pushing people to + and that's the last thing we want .

    The system is there for a reason and I think it works in general because it stops people from posting rubbish deals.

    Sorry we couldn't post the offer today as mentioned.

    if there are more of you out there that are genuinely interested please + the deal and then Maybe OZ will let us post it up earlier.
