hmmm, so this is still not the best deal yet if this already been $150 last year, with all these crazy frenzy deals around, I will expect both xbox & ps3 to have better deals coming up …

Were these really only $150 last year?? I am also waiting for boxing day sales… What is the deal with only 4GB.. I assume you cant install any (or maybe one or two) games so it means long loading times?? I am thinking about one as a wireless media player but don't know how locked down they are as well.
Me too thinking about this, just need this for my son as casual gaming, dont care about loading time, as long as putting in a retail disc and every games runs fine, but not forcing me to download before I can play.
Disc loading is about 1 or 2 seconds longer than HDD loading depends on the games.. I've loaded Halo Reach from the disc and then installed it to the HDD. The loading time was the same , I can't tell the difference…
